Well. After 5 years of complete hell in a hand basket, I'm going back to console gaming. PC gaming is getting to expensive for me and draining a hole in the budget. Why would I want to spend $ 100 dollars on replacing my graphics card between Nvidia and Intel processors? Why would I want to switch out my GPU all together just to suit the needs of one fucking pc game. I'm up to date when it comes to my software. But I recently tried to play Mass Effect 3 on my pc and apparently my pc doesn't meet the needs of that damn game. That and hardware compatibility issues that can't be solved by Compatibility mode. After my recent census on my budget. I found out that over the past 5 years. I spent $ 3,152 dollars on upgrading my computer between gaming, bigger hard drive, staying up to date with tech, and some other reasons. Now, I like pc gaming for mod ability and more open community's. But I shouldn't be spending that much in over 5 years. There's no reason to do so. I know regular console gaming is something but you're not always allowed to mod games, especially on Xbox. That's the reason why I got booted the first time around. Still though something in me objects to the change. Do you think it makes sense with the way I've spent money on upgrading my pc in exchange for something like a console that has lower capability but isn't a hassle to upgrade? Even with a 400gb hard drive, it's still taking a lot of space.
