I want to travel to new places, hike mountains, outdoorsy stuff. I really need financial stability to pursue it though. I'd like to travel to a foreign country and help little children learn English or backpack somewhere gorgeous. I love going to festivals and camping, I'm usually lacking the funds (my Aquarian side is impulsive as hell most of the time) and I feel trapped in my current situation. I love stability but I also hate it because I want to be free from the normal 9-5 day job life.

i was watching that Netflix film, "WILD" with Cheryl Strayed as the real life lady who walked the 3 month hike PCT (The pacfiic crest trail) and i thought she has to have 9th house something!!!
so i did her chart on astrotheme,
September 17,1968, born in Spangler, Pennslyvania
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cheryl_Strayed
She's Virgo sun/ Cancer moon 8th house, and her Leo Mars is in 9th house.
watch her film, she did NOT have any money at all, and she did it. I thought she is CRAZY!!!
but then if you watch the film she did it out of a kind of "trauma" and will power because she was "Lost" .....as she did heroin, drugs and shooting up and had lots of sex with random guys.
She told her true story in a book she wrote and became a film, and was on OPRAH too.
oh my goodness. i just went to look and she is happily married to an Aquarius Sun, Feb. 12!!!!
holy cow. lol
she did mention him in the film (You'll see if you watch it all the way through)
Mystic Medusa may have her chart correct, though. as they have her rising sign here (quoted)
and if so, she may have a 9th house moon, but in Leo,
and she's a Gemini Rising.

“How can you know this,?” I kept demanding. And then I would listen as she explained about the planets, the sun and the moon, the ‘aspects’ and the moment i was born. about what it meant to be a Virgo, with a moon in Leo and Gemini Rising. I’d nod while thinking this is a bunch of crazy New age anti intellectual bullshit. And then she’d say another thing that would blow my brain into about seven thousand pieces because it was so true.”
her husband, Brian LIndstrom is a Capricorn moon & Jupiter, Venus Aries, Cancer Mars.

Someone told me that having a planet in the 9th house was good for travels and new experiences but because it is placed on a fixed moon it isn't the best placement. What do you guys think?
