Favorite Lux Handbag Brand

Everyone has their preferences. I have always been a fan of Coach but lately I've been looking at Kate Spade and other brands.

What is your favorite brand? What brand do you feel is more of a statement piece because it is really expensive like Louis Vouitton?

I have 3 Furla bags, 6 Coach bags, 1 gucci and 4 louis vuitton, 1 Michael Kors.

I love Furla because the leather is such good quality although it's very basic. Coach is one of my favorites because the quality, price point and the fact that they always have new style s is just amazing. Gucci I'd say is overpriced for what it is. Louis Vuitton... The canvas is just indestructible. I have no regrets buying their Damier Ebene canvas because I don't have to baby it. Speedy 30 is my favorite and I want to get an Alma bb and i think I'll be done with LV. Michael Kors surprisingly is very sturdy. Mine is 3 years old and I have to say, no scratch, kept its shape and just overall a very very good bag that I can put a lot in.

I would never buy a Chanel or Hermes.

I'm eyeing some new brands that just came in my radar: Savette, Neous, Porto and Polene.

But also, I'm looking forward to getting the bag I am having made at the moment from Cellerini in Italy. If that Italian artisan made bag is great, I think I will stop buying brand bags and will just hav eone made for me every time. They cost just as much as Coach and you get to choose the leather, color, hardware. Like really personalised. ❤️

I don't know how many Coach bags I have. Some got really dirty cause I used them to much.

I have a LV change purse I got from my grandma but it might be fake I have to check it. Apparently all her other LV stuff turned out to be fake but who knows the change purse might be the only real thing she had lmao.

Other than those and MK I haven't heard of the other brands but I will check it out. You will have to let me know how the one you had specially made comes out. If the price range is around the same as Coach I might have to look into it.

Coach is such a wonderful brand. I can't fault it. I'm usually not careful with my bags so I find them really durable and for their price, they have bags that are at the right size and can fit a ton. What really disappoints me with Chanel for example, is that they cost an arm and a leg and you can only fit very little. If you wanna have a bigger purse it will cost like 10-15k which is a waste of money for a bag. Definitely checkout the others I mentioned! I think they are pretty good as well and not as common as other brands just yet (except Polene which I think used social media marketing so much hahaha). I'll post here once I got the bag from Italy. I'm really hoping the quality is a s good as what I saw in the reviews. That ay, I can stop buying branded bags altogether!

I have a few designer handbags that were given to me as gifts. Mostly MK and Coach. I would never buy one for myself though. Could never justify the price. Unless it was a really good sale then I might consider it. I mostly buy the cheap stuff. Lol

I buy on sale and I have a few outlet malls in my area. I don't think I've ever paid full price for a designer bag. The one I pictured above was priced $ 329 I got it for $ 89.

Once I was at a coach store and they had a purse I really liked priced for like $ 80 so I grabbed it. She rang it up and it came out to over $ 100 and I was like "how much tax was on it?" And the cashier said it rang up for however over $ 100 it was...so I pointed over to the rack that they were on and she basically shook her head cause it was priced wrong but she had to give it to me 😂 another time I got another coach bag that was reduced cause someone had returned it after buying it. I still have both bags and got them about 15 years or so ago.

I have cheap bags too but they always break or get ruined somehow.

I have 3 designer bags I love. Armani Jeans, Obag and roccobarocco. I am in love with Prada’s Nylon bag and the Dior saddle bag, but I can’t imagine having the money or opportunity to buy one.

Lmao I know what heart bag you're talking about I've been eyeing that one too but it didn't go down low enough for me. Plus I kept wondering what I'd wear it with. Now I'm suppose to be getting a red dress that I got for my office Xmas party that it would look cute with but now it's to late so I'll keep an eye on it to see if it drops any lower. I didn't see a heart one with coach I'll have to look for it. I think the heart one was down to $ 150 but I got my sparkly one for $ 89. I'm also looking at this wallet from kate spade that looks like a NYC metro card. I saw it while in NYC and it's a cute wallet but I can't justify a wallet for $ 110 and it wasn't part of their holiday sale so I'm keeping an eye on that one too.

Sometimes some items are there for a cheaper price if they don't become cheaper in stores or in the outlet

Girl I'm in my 40s and I want it lol 😆 idgaf anymore about if things are age appropriate... as long as it's not too cutesie...like I should be wearing pigtails with it or something. Then again, I do cosplay so a lot of my stuff like that can be incorporated into costumes as well. I was thinking about the heart purse to wear with an Alice n wonderland queen of hearts outfit. It could also be cute for valentines day. Obviously not an everyday purse.

That's such a great idea!!! If you're into cutesy bags, Furla will be a great option for you as well. I just got an email from them that they have the hello kitty print on their bags atm. I saw the designs and they are pretty good hahaha. They have a lavander and a black one with hello kitty all over. Its like my childhood dream coming true lololol

What is your favorite brand? What brand do you feel is more of a statement piece because it is really expensive like Louis Vouitton?

Also, I had a Kate spade before. They peel. I wouldn't recommend it. Kurt Geiger is the same and so is YSL. They peel for no reason. 😢

I just bought my first kate spade bag. It hasn't arrived yet but we will see how it holds up.

Fingers crossed that the quality has changed. They're now owned by Coach and the one I bought was ages ago, prior to Coach's acquisition. Post a photo of what you got, please 🙂

Lmao I know what heart bag you're talking about I've been eyeing that one too but it didn't go down low enough for me. Plus I kept wondering what I'd wear it with. Now I'm suppose to be getting a red dress that I got for my office Xmas party that it would look cute with but now it's to late so I'll keep an eye on it to see if it drops any lower. I didn't see a heart one with coach I'll have to look for it. I think the heart one was down to $ 150 but I got my sparkly one for $ 89. I'm also looking at this wallet from kate spade that looks like a NYC metro card. I saw it while in NYC and it's a cute wallet but I can't justify a wallet for $ 110 and it wasn't part of their holiday sale so I'm keeping an eye on that one too.

I only buy the off-brand like Couch, louis vatown, and cucci. 😛

Though I can’t forget one bad I saw at Bloomingdale’s (could be their brand but no more) and I am still longing for it but I can’t find it. It was under $ 300 and I wish I wasn’t in rush and stopped and got it.

Other than that - clothes I can ship for. Bags - nothing for me but transportation of things between places. But I read your passion and almost catching the fever.

They had the kate spade heart purse for an extra 20% off so saved another $ 31 on it and couldn't resist buying it. I looked at the Coach ones but the one I wanted was over $ 100 more than this one.

Hopefully it doesn't peel like you said it might. But I was able to see this one in the store and itnl seemed sturdy enough. Still waiting for my other one to arrive but it should be any day now.

Has anyone ordered exotic skin bags before? (apologies to anyone that might get offended). I heard about CITES certificate for the first time. Turns out everyone needs to have it if they are exporting and importing exotic skin. Even when traveling and you carry an exotic skin bag, you need to have this certificate. It's to regulate the space and make sure the exotic skin is sourced legally.

It was a good thing to know about this. Especially here in Australia where they are super strict on things like this.
