Am I the ONLY one who ONLY drinks water?!!!!

I don't/won't drink:
1. Pop/soda
2. Juice
3. Gatorade
4. Tea
5. Or ANYTHING other than water for breakfast, lunch or dinner!

The way I see it, everything else I can drink just makes me FURTHER CRAVE water! That's why I won't drink pop. 1, it burns my throat & 2, it just makes me crave water afterwards anyways!

I'll drink MILK, BUT only if it's included in food somehow, like cereal for example. But just drinking a warm/cold glass of milk? Heck no!

It's not that I think other drinks are nasty or don't taste good. I agree that juice & other things taste VERY good & can be VERY addicting, but idk for me, water tastes the BEST!

I drink ATLEAST 11 bottles of water a day! Even if I'm dehydrated or dying of thirst, I won't give in to drink a pop or soda! I'll literally WAIT until I can get to some water! Aaaaaaaah! Nothing quenches my thirst better/more than H2O!

Am I the only one?

Haha what's strange is that I get really into wanter during cold seasons and when I come out of a shower.

My main drink is water. But I can't relate. When I drink sugary drinks I tend to have no craving but still prefer the sugury drink. Depending on the drink. Green tea is my favorite. And I always prefer room temperature drinks. I hate cold, or on the hot side. Or car heated lol.

I HATE and love sodas. I can't stand drinking them but I grew up on it so... the familiar taste is... yummy. When I pour myself a cup (at a party or other rare times I consider drinking it) I always wait for the gassy-ness to lighten up because it hurts!

But I travel around here and there, back and forth with a big water bottle because I just like having it around. You never know when you want some water ^_^

@Shaka: Understandable. I am VERY physically fit & active.

For some reason I am ALWAYS thirsty. I never get enough of drinking water! I like for my water to be cold, not hot or room temperature b/c if it is, I won't drink it.

The only times I drink less than 11 bottles of water a day are when I'm drinking frozen water. Obviously, 1 bottle of frozen water can hold me over & last longer than persay 3 unfrozen bottles would.

Plus, I want to clear up that I don't necessarily only drink bottled water. If the water is filtered/clean, I'll drink water out of a jug, the sink, etc. I've heard about the negative affects bottled water has on the body, particularly the teeth, if too much is consumed.

There's no doubt that other drinks are tasty & delicious. I agree that juice is AWESOME, BUT once again, drinking other things only makes me end up craving water even more. A pop might taste good, BUT it never quenches my thirst! Hell, even gatorades or drinks with high volumes of water in them don't quench my thirsts

And no, I think milk is disgusting when consumed strictly by itself. I could NEVER just wake up & drink a cold OR hot glass of milk. Yuck! Milk in my cereal is 1 thing, but sheeeeeesh the only time anyone has ever seen me drink plain ole milk was when I was a baby!

I went through a time like that too where I only drank water, and like your experience, drinking other things just made me want to drink water even more. I actually felt sick when I drank anything else--even juice (although it was always store-bought juice with all the other sweeteners and stuff in it). I felt like I had to drown out the juice/soda with at least twice as much water in order to feel better again. I started feeling like it was kind of a hard way to live, this not being able to drink other things without feeling sick!
