I havent tried fennel. But I like beets in my orange juice. It gives an earthy flavor that's very appealing 🙂
Fennel bulb (as in the greenish veggie thing) slices up for a great stir fry... it's vaguely anise or licorice-flavored.. fennel seeds are what's used in Italian sausage to give it its unique flavor. I have never tried beets in orange juice, but then again I can't drink oj - the acid just murders my stomach, so I never developed a taste for it. Fresh oranges, however.. woo!
I tried beets in apple-beet-orange juice, they call it the ABC drink.
I will try fennel one day! I keep getting it mixed up with the loofah gourd, which I've tried.

Seems everyone I know hates it.
Okra. Love it. Grew up eating it. Many others don't like it because of its slimy factor. Oh well.
Liver. Fried shrimp heads. Calamari. Prolly the top three food loves that cause onlookers to make gag noises at me. 😢
Yuck me if you want, but most food can be bangin' if prepared correctly.

I like ALL veggies. ALL of them... not just broccoli and brussels sprouts.. but even turnips, okra, fennel, beets, squash, etc. I'd even eat many of them raw. Yum yum.
