I love leftovers!!! If I know it’s a meal I’ll want more of I def make enough to eat later. If it’s a new recipe, I might just make enough for one meal. I’m frugal so you better believe I eat them leftovers before they go bad!! I feel bad any time I have to throw away food anyway.... not just bc I see money going in the trash but for other people who aren’t as privileged to be so absentminded. I love me some leftovers so I’m lucky. I know quite a few Americans who just won’t. I make extra skeddi noodles to freeze for later with my leftover sauce. Dis one of my fav go-tos! Saves time when I don’t necessarily feel like cooking, which I have my days. I find I cook way more since covid which I’m actually grateful to get back into doing.

Portion sizes are unreal. I’m a slow eater and unless it’s shitty comfort food which I inhale I usually get full pretty quick too. So almost always make 2-3 meals out of it.
Like the Pad Kee Mao I had last week was my lunch for two days after.

I honestly hate going out to eat now. Americans seem to ignore portion sizes. Me and someone else almost always split something instead of ordering two different dishes. It’s honestly enough for two but you know how Americans what foooood for their moneys lol.

I saw my Taurus friend scoff down 2 meals, then bought some fries from the food truck. All under 30mins during work lunch, while I drank a single coffee.
While he remains a stick figure, I felt like I put on all the calories just by watching him 🤣🤣
I’m just speaking facts 😂
We are a wasteful human race. I try not leave leftovers because I feel bad about all the starving people in this world. The amount of food people waste is shocking. Getting rid of plastic and only buying what we need is the way forward

Probably 😂 he did have a gf while in an open relationship. I guess he consumes food like he does his women... a lot with variety. Mars in Aries
Homemade food has 3 day rule then toss.
Restaurant food has one day then toss.
Anything doubtful tossed.
Weeks later 😱😱 animals!
I make a new meal out of leftovers.
Entrees I'll eat most of the time. Side dishes might stay a few days until the next trash pick up.
Which is why you should just not take it home and waste a container and someone’s time.
I'm talking about the stuff I make at home. The stuff I pick up from the restaurants I usually finish off.
Usually I just try to force someone else to eat it for me.

I can get behind that..
But, "I'm gonna eat those leftovers, don't touch them".. 1-2 weeks later?

If you have leftovers, do you toss them or put them in the fridge?
If you keep them, do you actually eat them.. or let them sit there until they go bad, and toss them out weeks later?
