i know i have for YEARS. But as i matured... learned like most do, that the grass isn't always greener. But yea, that was my anthem for many years.

yeah.. thinking exactly that ..got me to a point now to realise that i have lost a guy with whom i could 've had everything..


(actually i even screamed it out loud in a caffe once 'i want it all, i will not settle unless it's everything!!!!! ... the boy looked at me shaking his head kinda saying 'you silly silly girl .. ' .. turned out.. i was waaaay beyond silly.. i was stupid.. didn't count on the fact ..that i may oversee the fact that that was everything ...

Don't beat yourself up too much for that. It might seem that it was everything but "things happen for a reason". it takes tons of trial and error, on your part and theirs.

Give it time, if it was "everything" then in time, you can have it, let things simmer for a little bit.

yes, immaturity tends to do us like that! Now I am just happy since I stoped running,lol...

I used to keep 'searching' for that other guy/greener grass.. until I had this realisation one day that it was him all along and that I was only searching for the more superficial, bouncy affairs that seem to define my life. Pity he's goneeeeeeeeeeeee. Probably going to be about 4-5 years before another good thing for me to fack up comes along.

as long as you keep learning from each situation you get your self in and constanly improving, you're on the right path. We have to humor that "searching" drive that we have. This is how you learn and know and are able to SEE when that one comes along. Otherwise, how do you really know it? If you haven't experienced and tested and tried, for people that don't know what you want.. thats how you find it. so in the next one, you avoid it and know better. eventually, you can find it. but there's a whole lot in thepile you gotta go through. lol

But what I have figured about myself over time is that..
When I stop searching, for a moment its because I'm genuinely into the person (rarely.. ever.. in my life).

In the past years I feel like I know what I want from people. I'm notoriously picky. But sometimes I almost 'forget' this and date some really boring, horrendous guy, who does one slight thing and I go insane... resulting in a GOODBYE. FOREVER or disgust at myself.

I learn from everything. I force myself to see the lesson in everything possibly terrible incident : )
