Gemini disappears.

I need some opinions here because frankly speaking i don't understand the situation. This Gemini and i have been talking on and off. He is one of my friend's ex boyfriend. The talk was flirty and he would talk to me till he fall asleep. (which is very late even though he needs to wake up early for work the next day) He ever told me that he has only 2 reasons not to go for me. one was that he said he's afraid of hurting me in the future and the other is that he doesn't fight an unsure battle. Because i ever said to him that I'll never have a second thought on my friend's ex boyfriend. And i know he still cares for me.He was worried whenever i party,who I'm with and where i am or if I'm injured and when i go home late and stuff.When he asked me what's in my mind and if i actually treat him more than a friend.i kept avoiding the question.He said if i treat him as a friend he'll do the same to me.And he said he'll only think about it if the day comes when i tell him I'm into him.so When I'm ready to say it.i told him that i do treat him more than a friend.and i asked him Why is there a need for him to ask.I got no reply from him and there he goes.VANISHED.Can anyone explain my situation to me?
I didn't try to contact him after that because i don't know what he's thinking.Is he gonna walk away like that or is it that he just needs time to think or is he just playing with me?

Geminis are naturally social butterflies moving from flower to flower. I can't speak for all of us of course. And there could always be more to the story that could be going on. But I know with my friends, sometimes I just stop talking to them and disappear for periods of time. It starts out with a couple days, but before I know it, days have turned to weeks and in some cases months that I don't talk to people. As far as ignoring them when they try to get ahold of me- I am guilty of occasionally just avoiding the awkward situation of telling someone I've changed my mind on how I feel about being around them. I'm not trying to defend it. I know its a rotten thing to do, but we tend to do such things.

I am like that too. I think we can go without speaking to anyone for days to even years. It doesn't bother me as much. Maybe it should? I don't know. I'm quite comfortable being alone (maybe more so) as I am with friends. I tend to just retreat into my mind for periods of time. I do ignore people sometimes on purpose but there's a reason to that such as feeling of being taken advantage of or I want just "me" time lol 🙂

My first gemini experience was along the same lines. When i met him, he was simply looking for fun a distraction...i was new and fresh in his immediate present (not knowing that @ the time)i was convenient, we worked in the same office building (separate businesses), he could not go out of his way on a weekend or work week to come pick me up or ask me out. Rather he could conveniently ask me randomly(gemini like that) on a work day when he "randomly" bumps into me, and ask me out. I eventually quit my job moving on to better things, and eventually he slowly stopped talking to me. He then would make excuses such as OH i fell asleep, my phone died whatever. He would ask me out and bail. Or ignore me for weeks. Then finally when i called him he said "yes lets hang" but failed to return my call and show up. I eventually stopped calling, im aquarius and im at times oblivious...so i went on thinking that is just the way he is.

Out of the blue one day he called me, asking how i was...i said i was great...asking if i wanted to catch up. I responded sure. Then he bailed again. Then couple months later he called again..i never picked up his calls. For 1 month after that...he kept calling and calling

I guess through my babel, i've learned that it really depends on the time you meet your gemini.

Is your gemini still unaware of his dark emotions? not really spirtually aware?

Is your gemini only looking for fun? if so, then he isnt going to be stable...

is your gemini .....etc etc etc (just examples)

I've also learned that if the person he is at the time you met him is just simply weak in the sense of not knowing who is, what he is feeling, and where is is...that will reflect over in your relations to him..whether it be friendship or romance.

i say, dont call him its a waste of time.
