Gemini, drama and denial.
He said the drama was caused by me being upset that he broke his promise and me not ignoring this girl when she tries to start shit.

I however don't get what this Gemini best friend is doing right now.
He is very forgiving and tend to start talking to people who hurt them before like they did nothing. Almost forgetting the pain they have caused. (Like getting in touch with an ex who cheated him on several times years ago or an ex lied to him)
Recently, he contacted this person who caused him a lot a pain and caused a stress in our friendship last year. She played him, cheated on him and she was jealous of my friendship with him and tried to break us up by being mean and malicious to me. She tried to make me lose my job by showing up and complaining to my boss over something that never happened.(She is a May Gemini. Free spirited but wants the attention all on her).
Because I saw how depressed and emotionally hurt he got, I told him to cut the cord and made him promise not to contact her again.
Two days ago, I get a Facebook message from this girl, asking me if me and this Gemini and I are still best friend and explained to me that he contacted her. I ignored her and called my Gem friend about it. He explained that he talked to her to know how is she. Again forgetting what she caused.
I got upset because he broke his promise to me and we got in a big fight.
In the end it turned into me being upset that he broke his promise, and him blaming me for causing all this drama, as if I had to be fine with him breaking an important promise to me.
I got upset, wished him good luck with her and left.
From a Gemini point of view, is there a logical explanation to him blaming me for this? How can I make him understand that I'm not at fault.
