every time my ex-husbands face pops up on the dating app I'm on. (not pof or tinder)

He has matched me like 4x, it truly makes my heart skip a beat. I just end up staring at his pictures and reading his short bio.

It's like seeing him through fresh eyes vs the eyes of our past. I wonder if he feels the same when I pop up on his end. I still have feelings for him, I'm sure I will always. He is the father of my children, also, I spent many wonderful memories and had a ton of 1st experiences together, that will never be replaced.

Anyways, I wanted to share that somewhere and didn't want to tell anyone of my friends b/c I don't really think most would understand.

What's done is done.

He is an ex for a reason.

if he had any feelings he would of reached out by now.

Come on now you are a gem!

So dust the dirt off your shoulder.

And do you boo. 😄

I would block him. ...Or give him advice about how to write a good advert....Depending upon whether my Pisces or my Sag bits are showing!

For me, the best way to stop something from hurting you, is to poke fun at it!

That being said, I went on a dating site a few months after my breakup, just to look for my Gem ex. He was there, with TWO active profiles, an older and a new one! From what I could see (I didn't pay to register), he had written an appalling self-advert, in which he seemed to tell off women for playing games...the advert of someone with a chip on his shoulder! Also, what he said about himself was untrue. He was neither nice, nor adventurous!

So my mood went quickly from nostalgia and a sense of betrayal, to laughing out loud. I decided not to help him, though. Women need to see how he really is.

You have to move on. This is unhealthy behavior.

I'm curious, what do you feel is unhealthy about it?
