Why am I attracted to this type of girl?

I've always been attracted to the cute shy girl who reads a lot and is pretty opposite of me...results in me getting bored but wanting that someone who can balances my air traits. On paper, Libras sound perfect if I were only physically attracted to them. My chart seems contradicting perhaps? I don't know a lot about how to read it just yet.
Is it just a gemini thing to not know what is good for you in a lasting relationship?

On a quick superficial look: Maybe you should read up on that venus in aries. Aries tend to get bored after the initial "conquest".

Yes, that is true. After the spark begins to fade, I don't know what to do anymore. Usually at that point the women will try to keep things going, and if I like her I become attached quickly with little substance. Maybe my watery moon taking charge?

Funny that you chose to use the word "balance," as that is the word often used to describe the partner of those with Jupiter in the 7th house (such as yourself). Jupiter signifies the spouse in a woman's chart, but even in a mans chart it shows a wife who is well educated, balanced, someone who can give you some direction.

Your Venus also occupies the 9th house of higher learning. I'm not sure what exactly you meant by "shy and reads a lot." Do you mean intellectual and maybe moral as well? Venus in 9th could indicate an attraction to someone intellectual.

Yep, cutie intellectuals are what I'm attracted to and seem to be attracted to me as well. And I do prefer good morals. Now that I'm finally wanting to settle down, the ones I'm dating don't want to. It was the exact opposite when I wasn't ready to settle. So what sign(s) would compliment my astro traits? I do like dating someone who is opposite of me and that I can learn from and vice versa. Yet not everyone can appreciate opposites in a relationship long term.

You only mentioned what you want, but in a different way...You could have picked any other sign to trash, but you picked libra. Finally met someone who could balance you...
