This is a blog post by someone who has struggled with depression for a long time,
really great read, and just wanted to share with DXP 'cos depression is really so common and
I think it's important to talk about it as much as possible.

"It's weird for people who still have feelings to be around depressed people. They try to help you have feelings again so things can go back to normal, and it's frustrating for them when that doesn't happen. From their perspective, it seems like there has got to be some untapped source of happiness within you that you've simply lost track of, and if you could just see how beautiful things are..."

i was depressed for awhile, it comes and goes. but it's because of real life events (My father in law is very ill and near death and it has greatly depressed me)
this happens alot when people i know in my family or close to me are dying. It really brings my mood down and i cry alot and get so sad i can't do anything. Or i do the opposite and start cleaning and cleaning and my tears are blurring me while i'm crying. It's a horrible feeling to feel that you are powerless because anytime, life can be taken away. People come and go in our lives and they will pass onto the next life or wherever they will go (whichever religion, belief you believe in)
i'm not so depressed as much anymore, since my husband is my rock and he basically just helps me through this terrible process. i'm supposed to be there for him and i am everyday but emotionally, it seems he's the one holding me up.
