OK I know this is a pretty difficult subject as most of us old timers might not remember too much from our past lives and what not but if there's anyone that has very good memories from their past what is it that you liked about the generation you came from? And do you like this generation better than yours? Or maybe not? This is mostly regarding pluto generation. And with that in mind, what sign is your pluto in? And all the aspects to it, house placement and all.

Some examples I'll give to this is the cost of living, gas prices (if anybody was even driving then), the economy, whatever. It can even be your fond childhood memories that today's kids don't do or get into these days.

I'll give my answer to this probably in a little bit. One of mines might be a bit too extreme for sensitive users. Just giving a heads up warning ⚠️.

I have to say my generation was good tho I pretty much grew up in the millennium ages and was just a mere baby in the x generation but the millennium years was good. The old antenna televisions was sucks. Who remember the days when you have to get up and keep adjusting the antennas constantly all the time to get the picture right? I think tvs back then was only 50 bucks at the least. Sex was good during the millennium years. I guess today's women's vagina ain't as good as the baby boomers and generation x's ones was. And yes I done did it with a boomer and it was awesome as shit I gotta say. And that's far I'm gonna go with that one. I decided to cancel out that extreme one cus like I said it's extreme and some of yall might be eating and I don't want to ruin anybody's appetites.

Good music even with the one hit wonders. Creativity was still valued. MTV actually showed music videos.

People had a sense of humor - no wokeness, and the comedians were actually funny.

Snowflakes got their asses kicked if they started shit, and most onlookers would say "they were asking for it"

Last US generation in general to have anything resembling a work ethic, and a sense of personal responsibility

Muscle cars were still a thing

Live and let live attitude, exceptions being the snowflakes

Cost of living was decent

The internet wild west and the rise of the personal computer

The music! Todays music is trash.

Bullshit. You have access to a wide variety of music because more people have access to create and distribute music. if you think music sucks today, it has more to do with your effort to seek and be open to it.

Also this issue may have more to do with our brains neuroplasticity and our ability to accept new things as we age. Grimes reminded me of this today. PUSH YOURSELF!

TVs were well expensive even back then. A good brand like Sony or Philips back then are similar money to now. People did give away the old CRT TVs around the late 00s.

I bought my very first set for 50 dollars. It wasn't much. It was a medium sized one and it didn't last long at all before it gave out. It eventually started to become a big pain in the ass where I had to keep tapping on the side of the TV to keep the picture from fuzzing cus the antennas didn't always work.

My generation sucks donkey testicles. Shit comedians, shit films, shit TV, shit music for the most part, fucked up apathy, techno-illiterate compared to newer generations and even older generations were more capable in some ways albeit with different tech, fake armchair doctor psychology, fake motivational speeches which are about as exciting as Bavarian folk festivals, shit at writing, dumb fuck quasi-postmodernism which isn't clever or intelligent and it's ripped from generations before.

On the plus some if the artwork is ok, the food is good like rejigging hotdogs and making them premium and y'all are usually pretty good to fuck.

Millennial. Pluto scorp.

PS: @Jumpin_Jupiter haha for extreme

I think Virgo, Gemini and Aries including rising are Dorian Gray placements were the people usually look younger than they are.

Tbh I've always hung out with older people and no 29 year olds want to have sex with me at present.

I have Gemini rising 🙋‍♀️

What’s yours?

29 year old male wanting sex is nothing to be proud of, when on the receiving end. They usually do it as another conquest and for the experience. It’s up to the woman if she will entertain it. Some do, others don’t.

Music.

Fashion.

Commitment, dedication and strong work ethic.

Not expecting things to be "fair" just because you grace the Earth. Who the f*ck told you that you were entitled to that?

Candy and Chocolate bars.

We weren't allergic to every d*mn thing on the planet.

True on candy and chocolate bars. Only one I've had this year I really liked was Tony's Chocoloney.

Never had it. It looks like it's sold over here, so I'll look out for it. I tend to only eat Lindt chocolate nowadays, but don't mind the odd old school chocolate bar when the mood strikes.

I recently watched a talkshow about the discourse around the war in ukraine and what struck me was that a fellow Aqua from generation made the same analysis of the situation as I do down to the exact wording of it that I had used at times.

With that in mind I'd say the real gift that millennials will give is yet to come, assuming we succeed, and that gift is that we will keep our societies from being torn apart by extremists and populist temptations.

The foundation for this I see in the fact that millennials are a true janus headed generation. One part of us still knows how the world was before the dawn of social media and all the shifts that came with it but at the same time grew up with the shifts, which means we felt what it did and that not all of it was good despite the still immense potential those things can have.

Maybe we are and will be the only truly post-modern the world will ever have considering that generation z seems to stand at the starting point of what eventually became the boomers and gen x in their need for moral clarity and simplicity.

The war is pretty much verbal discourse. I'm ashamed at the way millennials have acted on spaces like Twitter and YouTube, okay it's not just millennials, but they seem the most active at calling people Karen, Uncle Tom, all of the phobes because of a differing opinion. Pretty sure it was millennials who populised the idea that men can have periods.

I hate how people here get nostalgic over Yugoslavia when they are the ones who tore it apart. We were born into war and chaos and bombed from the beginning with a world that was not our making. Globally speaking, we are young adults in a world that is still controlled by the generations before us, they succeeded in devastating the Planet and they still dictate the tempo. These youngsters at least have their own voice. We were shut down at the start, our expression is an echo of the past which belongs to entitled Boomers who had all and destroyed it all.

Its really annoying and lacks originality. One person thought to use the label Karen for example and then all of a sudden its all across the internet.

Herd mentality (not the Amber type) lol.

Virgo in the 9th.

Best music era, less electronics, healthier imaginations and more playtime, parents couldn’t track you with a cell phone, people weren’t as divided by politics and stupid shit. Only improvement I see for now is things are quicker and easier due to modern technology, but we are less social in person. And the pot is better too.
