Honestly in my heart I am slowly falling for him, but I always hear from people and books to "hold back" if you are a girl.Also after a date, he gets quiet over the next few days. So am not sure how he really feels.
Yes you should say you love him if that's the way you feel. Do not follow the hype, there are no such things as dating rules! I've noticed everyone's playing these stupid games and I can tell you I'd loose intrest very quickly. I don't like mind-games! Everyone wants to feel wanted and loved. So I don't get the equation here, acting hot'n cold according to the dating rules is only gonna make that special one feel bad. That's emotional abuse.
And btw, chances are he's playing by these rules too in order not to loose your intrest.
If you want advice from someone with a pure LEO mentality, our slogan is....JUST DO IT.
Im old and Im prone to infatuation. Just do it. If the answer is no then at least ull know, if the answer is yes then see there is something that you could have regretted.
so leo and scorpio and cancer...and you're questioning this? of course tell them. crap. lay it on really thick too, and they'll come to depend on you and you'll end up being the one with the upper hand.
Hi guys I took a little break from the boards and I am thankful for all your kind words and support since I last posted. Very helpful advice.
Ok so we have been seeing each other once a week, but he never asks me to spend the night (after the first few times I told him I gotto go bc I have to get up early). Still though he hemself never asks me to stay evn last night it was 2 am and he let me go.
What is that indicative of? How do I solve this dilemma?
Also I took your advice and actually in a tipsy moment I said "I love you." and he said "I love you too". But the only thing is he had mentioned earlier "you're my friend... " in the middle of one of his sentences. How can you tell if we are in a friends with benefits thing vs a man who is getting to know me as a friend first, being cautious and seeing how things go (he did tell me his last girlfriend and he were seeing each other as friends for a bit before they became official) So this is a bit confusing.
We do do date like things like dinners, movies, etc but I don't want to be in friend zone only. What do you think? How does one keep it moving forward rather than regress to FWB? Thanks in advance for your kind input.

i wish my leo would've even looked at me like i had to be gone before dawn. let any man come at me like that. if he wants to dip early on the first try, fine...that's the last time he samples my goodies.
no offense but why not leave a few bills on the night stand on your way out? you want better, demand better. show up with an overnight bag. tell him you have an early morning appointment...somethin.

Should I break u with him? Been looking on all the internet sites that say a guy who doesnt ask u to spend the night and is not progressing beyond once a week and then is saying ur his friend is "not that into you". That sucks. He must have found someone else I guess? Then I dont get why we are saying "I love you" to each other. How stupid.. I am a spaz at dating... We do love saving people LovelyMissAries so you hit that nail on the head. Id like to weigh in here, but Im not sure what to say. For me, the L word scares me unless IM TOTALLY POSITIVELY SURE! I dont want even hear it if Im unsure about MY feelings. It makes me run for the hills. But, Im a Loiness, not a Lion and I also have Leo Sun and Leo Moon with Aqua Mars and Rising so Im sometimes not the typical Leo with my polar opposite rising sign! If he is a Scorpio Moon and Cancer Venus, Id say it is quite the emotional fella. Opposite from me. So, he may be waiting for you to make him feel reassured.
If he's spending time with you, he does most likely like you. I can assure you he is probably quite picky. But, you should be careful with him. Im not sure I get the whole NOT spending the night thing. If there are extinuating circumstances behind it, maybe... but you didnt say that so, Im thinking not. If I were you, Id ask him how he would feel about me staying over. Tell him ahead of time how it makes you feel when u leave in the middle of the night. If he truly cares, he will understand.

Been off DXP for a while and been doing some reading...felt a serious need to put my comments here. BK you seriously need to learn to trust your OWN instincts and listen to your OWN heart? I mean really...someone mentions that because you leave after each session it may be a FWB situation and you're asking if you should break up with him—?

Leo's are strong and get bored quickly if you're a walk over. I'm Leo sun, moon, venus, mercury AND Saturn with Aquarius rising so trust me on this - pull yourself together God dammit woman! If you ALLOW him to use you he most certainly will (Leo men are opportunists no doubt about it) but the minute a more condident woman who knows what she wants appears on the scene he'll move on.
As for him saying he loves you....he probably does - at the time. For me and most likely for other Leos love comes and goes quite easily. Sometimes its only around for a short while and other times it lasts forever, so if he's saying it he probably means it but it's up to you to make it stick.
