I met her last november, until recently she had been seeing another guy. I'm a little embarrassed to say she's turning 17 tomorrow, so that makes me 3 and half years older. Although 17 is the age of consent in IL, so she's fair game. No quality time, until now the only times I'd see her was when her boyfriend was hanging out with a mutual friend of ours. In addition, we've exchanged some emails and recently phone numbers. B/c of the age difference I've been trying to play it cool and not seem too interested even though she's been on my mind lately. She's a dancer, she has a great body I couldn't believe she's only a senior in highschool. She asked me to the beach for her bday tomorrow, guess I'll see how that goes and take it from there.

Also, we had been exchanging texts and she mentioned how she was still in bed at 2pm. I asked her if she had a wild night she responded she was just being lazy. At that point I preceded to use flattery, which is generally out of my character. I responded "it certainly doesn't show, you look like an athlete" breaking my 'not-so-interested' attitude. Not sure if that was the right move yet.

"Yes, she still has feelings for her ex. And yes she is enjoying the attention you are giving her. I don't think you should pursue her. If you do, protect your heart. If we still have feelings for our ex (esp if they just recently broke up too..), if you pursue her, I guarantee you she will keep going back to her ex."

Don't worry I'm not about to go head over heels for a senior in HS, I'm reasonably well grounded.

hey chi,

hmmm.. leos are pretty loyal when in relationships, so chances are, if she's really in love and secure with her bf, you're going to have to put up an impossibly HUGE fight to try and win her over. if the relationship is rocky, it may be easier. the thing with leos is, once the feeling is gone, they can drop you like THAT, and half the time you won't even see it coming. good luck!
