fire and earth signs

I find it interesting to see these combinations a lot:

leo with capricorn

aries with taurus

sagitarius with virgos


can anybody explain to me how they can work becos evidently they do work in spite of their astrological differences.

I've noticed this too but I think because they have very different ways of doing things but still think alike somehow.

I'm Aries and I find I get Tauruses but in the long run, very very hard...I'm attracted by the dependability but then I get restless quite quickly. So with the Tauruses in my life, I spend little time with - appreciate them more that way...

Earth and fire are constantly attracted because of the differences like fire is quick emotions, low stability....earth is slow emotions with high stability....so they will always wonder how each is the way they are....but for long term, big question mark...

i think it has to do with the other astrological signs that correspond to the planets in their charts. if many of the other planets' signs are compatible, then the incompatibility in the sun sign may not matter. for ex., supposedly scorps and leos aren't supposed to get along, but i'm a leo and many of my closest friends are scorps.

I think a lot of fixed signs will be close friends because they have high levels of loyalty expectation from people around them 😛

I know a Leo/Capricorn couple. They are a few years older than me but they have been together for nearly 11 years. Something must be right in their charts hmm?

Fire feeds off the earth and burns bigger... then it burns out when nothing is left to fule it. Alternatively, the earth cuts off the oxygen and the fire turns out. Either way, the fire turns out.

It might start as intense but it would probably die out eventually... If there are kids involved then that would probably shift the focus off the unspontanious and unchangeuble earth sign and give the fire something new to play with.

Beowulf, u are so correct on this statement. Especially when the feeling is mutual and real. I will take a cap/taurus 1st, then a virgo.

In my opinion any and all signs are compatible with each other, you just need to find which one fits you better. And for muah it would be a water sign = (scorps)give me my water anyday..😉

yeah what's up with that? i'm a leo involved with a cap (little over 2 years) and we're absolutely crazy about each other! the electricity in our relationship has only intensified with time. i wonder if it has anything to do with my being a leo/virgo cusp. i have to agree with the protective thing. we're both incredibly protective of the other. it's true! we've both verbalized it in separate incidences. i've also told him that i would fight off the world to ensure his happiness and success in life.
