Powerful in what sense— which signs are you comparing? Though best combination is within same group, people getting attracted to the wrong person is quite common. I guess its a trouble in identifying ones needs vs going for his/her wants.

Air and Earth goes opposite most times in their methods and thoughts but still can be real friendly.

Fire exist outside of a planet. It exist within the universe. Water only exist within a planet. There is can be no water without fire. Fire is essential for water, but water is not essential for fire.

Fire is pure oxygen (O2). Water is oxygen + hydrogen. Water is more evolved form of fire. However, water also includes hydrogen which is:

1) Fuel of sun (the most firesome object)

2) It is used for nuclear reactions.

Therefore, water includes fire. But special connection of hydrogen and oxygen creates water which is source of life.

Water can easiy put out fire

It requires more heat to dissolve water than water to put out the fire.

And a blast of air is always good to purify those stagnant cess pit waters isn't it Haffo?

How do you dissolve water anyway? Water disolves things, fire evaporates water or at least jigs it up a bit, earth gives water something tangable to cling to and merge with to form a gooey mud type thing, air just creats a sandstorm with earth, getting in everybody's eyes, earth basically stifles air so that it needs to burrow through it to get out in the open. Fire makes air go even higher into the atmosphere and conversely air makes fire's flame rise higher.

And it spreads bad smell everywhere just like you do it now.
