Leo girl- how should a shy Libra deal with her?

I'm a perhaps somewhat atypical Libra (Aries rising) who isn't, unlike virtually every profile states, all that good at being social; I can be attentive, kind, interested in what someone's saying, etc, but it's not the most natural thing in the world to me. When I've been in a social situation, I've later been made aware that I come across well, people never have anything bad to say about interacting with me (at least, they haven't said so to my face!).

I've known a somewhat younger Leo girl for a little while now, and we seem to get on pretty well, spent quite a while hanging around together a few times; a bit of banter, she seemed pretty happy/ flattered I came and spoke to her the most recent occasion, and that I'd remembered things she'd said and done before- I added her on Facebook after that occasion, and sent a couple of basic friendly messages here and there, but she responded with only very short messages from which I couldn't tell if she was annoyed I'd contacted her/ was bored by what I was saying (bear in mind I was just 'testing the water' in a generally friendly way, not trying to be super interesting or intense!). So I haven't sent any for a while now, although we can probably both see when the other is online. She has never sent me a message first, which I take as a sign she doesn't really feel like saying anything/ doesn't have anything particular she wants to say, which is perfectly fine; I'd just be interested to know how this squares with general Leo/ Libra interaction, whether she's waiting for me to do something (anything)... just some kind of idea what I should or shouldn't do! It's in my nature to second-guess myself over and over again (which I gather most Libras do...) so even sending a 'hey, how's it going' message causes ridiculous self-doubt; I understand Leos are generally very friendly and good at dealing with people, which means I can't tell if she actually likes me (even just 'as a person') at all or if it's just general Leo force of personality... any hints appreciated.

With that being said I'd keep messaging - get her used to the idea that somebody (like yourself) can be and is always attentive.

Best find some common ground tho, a topic you're both interested in for a real excuse to open up the conversation in IM

A libra who used to pursue me a little found music I liked mostly and we'd just share files and lyrics we found funny or just enjoyed - car music for our commute each day- cute stuff like that which made me look forward to a hello and then things just flowed around that 🙂 good luck ~*~

Love libras too. I think you should still talk to her maybe just say Hey? Im pretty sure she will respond. Leos and Libras have this easy going attitude towards each other its great.

My ex is a leo. They live for compliments so use our libra charm to sway her. Dont over do it, let her chase you a bit. Make her laugh, as every woman loves to laugh then set a date up.

What's typical about a Libra? Why don't you meet her in person. Just gather up some courage and go to her.

OK, so the general consensus seems to be stop dithering, which I will now aim to do! Thanks all for the thoughts.

Solesan- I guess 'typical' in the sense of what everything I've read suggests to be characteristic of ALL Librans, which is 'thriving on being some kind of social gadabout'; I don't MIND being friendly etc, I just don't feel it's at all my default state- although my life would be easier if it were, I think!

Pisceanloves- This just came from some website or other so I don't know if it's all accurate, plus I can never remember off the top of my head anything other than 'Libra sun sign, Aries rising' and don't know what the rest all means anyway, but here's what I have:
