Leos-Do you say you love them first?

I spin off from another thread. I'm a leo woman and from what I remember don't think I've said I love you first. I did though cave one time and told the guy I think I'm falling and he started to walk. That said, I've always been fearful of saying it first even when I know I'm there. Is this a leo thing?

complete leo thing ..we have too much pride and our egos are easily bruised. it would be horrific to say something like 'i love you' and deal with the rejection. i always wait.

that may be a Leo flaw since I do refrain from showing my affection especially to someone I'm falling for but once they have me I'm so crazy loyal that I would move worlds for that person. How do we Leo's get past this?

we get past it by following our own motto: just go for it! i dunno, that's what i do. i express myself freely to both men and women. the men are never turned off by it either. maybe because it's consistent with my nature? they just accept that as a part of who i am and so if, or when, i drop that line they are not frightened by it. in fact, i can say it so openly and effortlessly that i am often perceived well and they appreciate my honesty and forthrightness.

Yeah, us Leos can't help it really. We can hold back strong feelings, but only for so long. We are such BAD liars...This is why I don't try and just come clean, especially when I go after Cancers and Scorpios. Evil freaks!

Yep Leo thing. I dont think I have ever said it first. But each of them knew that I was like that and when the told me they followed up with "you dont have to say it until you are ready" and I didnt. But, trust me...... they knew I felt it or they wouldnt have been confident in saying it to me. I said it very shortly thereafter and have no regrets! Leos are bad liars and we wear our hearts on our sleeves so it usually obvious to our partners when we are feeling something. We dont leave a lot of room for misinterpretation about our feelings IF you truly get us.

If theres one thing ive noticed it's leo's and being so prideful that they would go as far as to lie to keep thier pride intact (at least this is what ive seen from all my leo friends/love interest etc...) it's harmless yet i know when it's happening and it's mainly to hide feelings and such.

Us Leos Are Pretty Sensitive...So We Be Scared To Say The Word "I Love You" First. Just From The Fear Of What We Think The Person Might Say Or Wont Say. Cause If They Dont Say it Back It Can Hurt. I Knew This One Boy For Almost Two Years And I Said It And The Only Thing He Said Back Was "I Cant Say Love" Like What The Hell Does That Mean? But My New Boyfriend I Said It First Because I Couldnt Wait Any Longer Of Holding It In. And I Got His Response And He Said It Back. So You Will Never Know What Happen....Because I Always Heard "Say It Before Its Too Late" &'d I Dont Wanna Be Too Late.

I agree I have never said, "I love you first". Probably because yes I do fear the rejection which is a leo thing and I also just don't want to be all soft and stuff. Now when I do like someone I will go all out as the virgo guy I am trying to court has found out.

However I think that we can get passed the Leo flaws as we get older and mature. I feel like once we experience the first time we are able to be like okay I can do this. I think thats the best part about being a leo we are very flexible and once we understand something we always make it work
