Agree. Romancing is fun though, it's my favourite sport... 😄

Like when it came to birthdays and anniversaries, I'd keep a list over things to do/buy because I had so many ideas that when the day eventually came I'd usually forget what it was that I had in mind. So over the year I would pay close attention to her and make secret notes.... Is that creepy? lol

My ex girlfriend was a Pisces mooner, and you cannot be very spontaneous with those peeps, they are too bipolar! Anything 'romantic' that I wanted to do, any grand plans or gestures I had to run through her first, because you never knew what mood she was in. So in that aspect, that particular relationship was kind of a downer. It didn't really fulfil my need "to romance".

i have to say that the most romantic gesture ever made in my direction was from an aqua of all things!!!!!

it was seriously romantic. he created a beautiful moonlit restaurant for two in his garden. twinkly fairylights everywhere and a perfectly dressed table. he played the parts of chef, waiter and host...each played as characters with the host being 'himself' of course. it wasn't my birthday or any other kind of special occasion. he just said he wanted me to feel like a queen....*sigh*.

after the meal, we played chess using shot glasses as pieces. half an hour into the game, i was anihilated both by checkmate and alcohol. then i was very unwell and completely ruined the romantic scene LOL!!!

we're still friends 🙂

i have been on the receiving end of leo's romantic gestures too although in my experience, they've been less traditional and have screamed 'agenda' to the point where the gesture seems completey shallow.

Btw, someone in another thread posted something about love style s 'Venus edition', and it said that for the Venus in Cancer folks -- "feeding is a form of nurturing, and offering food is a form of flirtation. An invitation to a home-cooked dinner may set the scene for seduction. Even the suggestion to split a pizza may mean more than a passing interest. "

So true. All my romantic scenes involve food one way or the other. I measure everything - and especially love - by the gut ,though it could be my Taurus rising. I can't stand a girl who doesn't know how to eat, and a girlfriend who's not domestic simply doesn't love me enough, as far as I'm concerned. lol

I do that too! Have a list of things already made out as christmas gifts based on his meanderings over the last few months and trying to decide what to move to the birthday list - us Cancer Mooners 😉

I love giving birthday gifts, I always put a lot of thought and effort in it. Doesen't matter if I hardly know you, you can be sure you'll get something "personal". I hate giving random gifts, you know, like just for the sake of it. It has to be personal or else I might as well skip your birthday party.

Back to the subject: One time me and my girlfriend were on our way home from a concert, we had to walk for like 25 minutes from the bus stop and it was Sweden mid-winter. Freezing as hell. She was under-dressed so I offered her my black coat and I walked home in my shirt. lol

Don't know if that qualifies as romantic, it wasn't something I planned for, but I like when these type of situations pop up where I'm given the opportunity to act all "knight in shiny armour". 😉

I would snatch away her shoes too, teach her to dress appropriately for the occasion. As the Germans say, there is no such thing as bad weather only wrong clothes!

well obviously ALL his planets apart from his sun were probs in leo.

i'm glad you like girls that eat btw. i always feel like a freak for having a huge appetite to the point where i may even apologise before the meal! i eat gracefully and slowly but just mahoooosive volumes! i LOOOOVE my grub. loooove cooking too and i like my man to be able to cook.

my kids used to rip the shit out of my ex (their dad obvs, lol) cos they said his 'signature dish' was tinned ravioli on toast. that's cos he never had to bloody cook when i was with him cos i was all things to all men (figuratively). now he's with another aries who won't stand for his crap, he's turned into fucking gordon ramsey!!! my daughter messaged me from his house in the uk....omg you won't believe it mum, dad's in the kitchen cooking dinner and it's not ravioli!!

anyways. i digressed a little there. soz.

enfant: wow i know how cold it gets in sweden. what was she thinking!!?? i love the gesture of a man's jacket or coat cos i'm so little and i feel like i'm a kid in dress-up pretending to be a grown up....which is pretty much me normally, LOL!!

Sweden! Mid-winter is absolutely gorgeous in Lund. It's a very special place for me. Maybe, instead of Tokyo, I should consider Stockholm for a vacation... hmm.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a 'feeder'. If you're a big eater I'd appreciate if you have a gym card as well! 😛 But there is something about a woman eating with her whole face that just makes me heartfelt. I guess it's my (s)mothering moon.

There is this Scorp at my work, she makes a scene every time she eats, takes big bites that she can hardly chew them, and I'm all awwwwwww! Did I mention I secretly luws her. Oh and she's married to an Aries too, not very enthusiastic about it either. When I asked her, "C'mon what's the worst part about him?" she replied with a smile on her face, "The fact that he exists." Ouch! So does that qualify as an invitation in Scorp language......?

oh don't you worry. i'm apparently FAF which is the new londonspeak acronym of 'fit as fuck', lol. geeee how complimentary of you sir!! i love my food but i offset the calories with plenty of exercise. when i'm not exercising my jaw, i'm a bit of a martial arts freak 😛

lol at the work scorp....that's EXACTLY what i used to say LMAO!!! trouble is, i spent 20 years saying that so i wouldn't hold your breath but yeah, it's definitely a come-on. she's prolls a bit like i was in that i wanted someone to save me from the aries cos i knew i wouldn't leave him otherwise. well, it doesn't work like that unfortunately but she's obvs not happy. if you want her enfant, you should put her in touch with me and i'll fill her in on the misery that potentially will be her life with the aries LOL.

oh yeah and btw, i've never been to sweden but i have swedish friends....there are lots of swedes in spain cos of the climate. my friend ida sent me a picture last time she was there...she'd just stepped out of her house and her hair was completely frozen solid in seconds. now THAT is fooooking cold even for someone who's lived in the UK!!!

My Leo once wrote on my car when it was warm out "I'll love you forever"
And I didn't see it until a week or so later on a cold morning through the frost.
Every Leo I've ever known has been like that. It feeds my Venus Cancer like no friggen other. lol.

@ Rigormortis: Wow, Ida must come from a very northern region. I mean Sweden is cold wintertime but it's not the friggin' North Pole. My cousin who lives in the States once called me and asked if he was gonna bring a winter overall or if he can just bring a really thick jacket. LOL People seem to think that Sweden is like polar bear country where everyone is walking around with snowshoes. In the last couple of years there's hardly been any snow in the southern part of the country where I live, only rain.

Ok, after a long and 'personal' chat with my Scorp colleaue today I'm starting to think her Aries husband is the actual victim! Just when you think you're starting to get to know someone.... but I'll save that for an other day, I gotta go tidy up my place now. It's a mess!! :O

the writing on the car reminded me of an incident in london when i was putting my car through what they called a 'posh wash'? you know where all these fit young dudes clean your car 😄 well, i was fit AND young too then lol. i didn't notice until the car emerged from the other end of the washing process that they had drawn a massive dick on the windscreen after putting it through the rinse so it was kind of stuck on my stupid windscreen for the entire journey home!!!

i mean i know it's a kinda complimentary thing but it's somewhat lacking in romance, lol!!
