Cancer Female, Libra Male.

Hi, I'm a Cancer female, and my boyfriend is a Libra male. He's very much into his intellect. I'm very much into my emotions. We clash sometimes.

How can I make this work?

Be less emotional and more objective. Accept him for who he is and request that he appreciates you for who you are.

Communication barriers are huge with water and air combos.

I find Libra males to be too superficial for my emotional needs. I dated 2 libras, 1 with a Scorp moon for almost 2 yrs of hell.

u r wasting ur time... find someone else... u cannot match the emotional or intellectual needs of a libra. So why bother? find someone who will be comfortable with ur existing emotional frequency.

My libra does that "cold" thing. He'll end a phone conversation if I'm being too emotional. In person, and on phone he gets quiet if I talk about how I'm feeling.

He is very loving, caring, and a good friend, but he can't seem to understand the intense feelings I have.

Hmmm interesting. I can't recall feeling any coldness from them, aloofness, self involved, forgetfulness maybe, but never coldness.

Librans don't like to deal with the emotional stuff too intensly, they would rather show and feel than verbalize it.

we dont want to deal with any situation where others show a negative approach towards using their brain in a rational fashion. We dont like to spend time talking about problems if its not discussed in a sarcastic manner. We rather prefer to talk about the possible solutions and ways of implementing it. An emotional cancer cannot get to focus on a solution and will stick around problems for way too long. It bothers us. its not the fault of cancer, its their character. We simply dont appreciate it beyond a certain limit.

Sometimes a solution is not what I'm looking for - I'm more looking for someone to understand.

He may understand very well, but we Libras aren't going to dwell on such things.
I find that cancers tend to want people to agree with them, not so much understand them.
Once my b/f (a cancer) was talking about a friend and how he would go out his way over and over again to help him. When I gave my opinion about the guy he automatically started to defend this guy's behavior. It makes it very hard for me to relate to you guys (cancers) sometimes because you have no sense of logic about yourselves. everything is so emotional with you, and you guys tend to be so narrow minded with your thoughts. I myself see right through you guys, and usually when its all over you cancers make the same mistakes over and over again. What you need to do is try to go beyond your beliefs and be more objective you'll be surprised at what you may find. Hopefully this doesn't offend any cancers I do think you guys are good people you just tend to live in a unrealistic world at times.
