I 21 years old, cancer female and I just recently started talking to this Libra guy who is also 21. I seen him around at parties and social gatherings I've had with friends before and we have talked here and there, I always thought he was cute and a couple of times of us talking at parties he said I was cute as well and called me sexy. He gave me his number about a week ago at this party and we been texting ever since. He is soo cute and for some reason I just can't stop thinking about him. I just have this gut feeling like he would be the perfect guy that I would love to date. Its odd for me because I typically never like guys this much. I guess you can say I've had a crush on him for awhile seeing him out and now that I got his number it makes me even more happy that were talking. Thing is he seems kinda shy, shes kinda nerdy looking, but in a cute way, and when hes out at parties I never really see him talking to many girls, just chilling with his friends. My ex-girlfriend's a Cancer & we still get along great, even after we've moved on after 5.5 years. LadyLibra12's spot-on w/ the Libra observations*, but there are other things I'd like to mention (could also reflect my Pisces moon though, but I'm pretty Libra w/ my Sun & Ascendant in Libra & being a Water Dog in Chinese astrology which is REALLY Libra):

-Don't ever make him the object of your fetish. It's pretty degrading when someone drools over you but won't remember the things that you've said....which leads to
-Try to remember his words. Even though he might give you a plethora of random information, try to remember what interests him. I've noticed w/ Cancers (one of my BFs, ex-GFs, & many other Cancer friends) is that they tend to not remember things unless it's told to them from someone charismatic, who they deem as "cool", or someone they deem as more intelligent than you. He's really going to be annoyed when he tells you something you may find trivial, & then you mention it back to him when someone else tells you about it as if it's something new.
-Please try not to be irrational. If there's anything about Libras, it's that we like logic. He's not going to take you seriously if what you do, how you feel, & what you say has no real reason behind it.
-What is really going to conflict is Libra's "There's a problem? Let's analyze it, find out if it affects the least amount of people, & try different solutions, temporary alleviation, or neutralize it on a common ground" damage control mentality vs Cancer's "There's a problem? That's how it is & will always be and there's no point in trying to mend what can't be fixed." self-defeating mentality.

* - I don't mind swearing so much in like music or movies since it is a raw expression of pure emotion at times, but as long as it's not in public. I might sound like a snob right now but it is really uncouth to be swearing on a regular basis. I guess we are rather conservative in practice (I don't like swearing or spitting in public, or smoking cigarettes in front of children), but not in thought (we are kind of socialistic w/ our "everyperson" mentality).

I also agree with "try to remember his words" I LOVE IT when people really KNOW me... its so flattering to know that someone has taken the time to get to know my lil quirks and how I tick...

I like this, because I make an effort to get to know my friends lil quirls and how THEY tick and then I will work around those lil quirks because they are my friend and I like them...

Its really insulting to be friends with someone and then find out they didnt anything about you at all..

It really is. I think the reason why I never got over this one girl (GEMINI!) is because not only did she analyze the hell out of me, she said everything to me that I never knew anyone else ever noticed and in a sense, everything "I never knew that I've always wanted to hear"? And in pure Gemini fashion, she up & disappeared.

I'm like that as well. One of the things that really annoys me is having to reintroduce myself to someone...EVERY time I see them. It's like Homer Simpson to Mr. Burns.

I dont have that issue... its usually me not remembering them... fuck thats embarrassing... I feel REALLY bad about it too... I just pretend I remember them and do the whole... "Oooooh yeah... right! Hi!"

This is my personal weakness. I can't stand a girl with no brains. I'd sooner hang out with an "unattractive" woman with brains than a hot ditzy mess. All of the other stuff that gets thrown around about Libras...meh. Keep my mind churning. Keep me thinking about what I'm going to say the next time I see you...and well, I am thinking about you when you're not around.

radar10, I saw your pics, you got him 😉. My ex-girl for 5.5 years is a Cancer, she persistently chased me for 3 months straight (I like to play hard to get) until she finally asked me out. She pretty much rushed me into a decision since I told her I'll let her know in a week. I have no regrets though, as we are still friends to this day & actually better now than we were before.
