Libra sales people.

Anyone around here working on sales— Just heard this story. My aqua frind told me one girl was there at her office for interview. Her boss interviewed her first and told aqua tat this girl has low IQ and send her over to aqua for further investigation. Aqua found her the same with low IQ and found out she is weird and guess that she possibly has some problems since she has been searching for a job for last 4 months.

I asked her about the zodiac of this girl and found out she was libra(though I thought it could be an Aries and her naive blurred looks might hv made these two people guess her IQ). Since it was a libra girl, I asked her how they determined her IQ part. So she explained. Her boss asked a question to this libra. Suppose if product A is purchased for $ 200, how much will you sell it for. And after looking a bit blurred, libra answered that she dont know. So boss concluded that she is low on IQ.

Just wondering... if you know any libras in sales field. I always found it hard to quote a price. how you all feel?

They didn't tell her the percentage of the mark up. How the hell would she know? Idiots.

Obviously... I told aqua tat she is just being plain stupid by judging a libra girl when she failed to answer according to their expectation. Give us every last details and then a bit of time and you can get the best possible answer. Well aqua wont give in right. 😉

My Libran is in sales....can't see him doing it but apparently he does ok

I'm great at it but don't like it. I don't like convincing people stuff. I like consulting people on stuff though....so if I can spin it that way I can avoid becomming cynical.

I think she said she dont know because many things are running through her mind.

1. Many factors come into play and you don't just throw in any figure.
2. Maybe she does not do marketing/ study marketing theories?
3. She'd rather be on the safe side
4. She's being honest.

Libras are GREAT sales people one-on-one. They are SO detail oriented and truly want what's best for the client / customer BUT they hate rejection (can happen a lot in sales) and hate it when a deal doesn't come together or falls apart (their sense of balance / equitability / justice is disrupted) and Libras can APPEAR to be lazy at times (which Sales Managers don't like). But their CONNECTIONS with people are wonderful. My two cents.

I think libras are good sales persons as they know how to be diplomatic and know persuading. They can find the way how to tailor a selling strategy to each individual.

On the other hand refusals can be pretty annoying as well as feeling that you actually might be bothering someone if he doesnt show any response

I was in media sales for a couple of years. I hated the second job though. For Libra's we start out motivated but as soon as we see how "cut throat" the sales field is we get de-motivated really quick! Basically when we see the office is unbalanced we become un-balanced and therefore just become unproductive. Also I know for me I wanted to help people so it became hard for me take people's money...which is a problem with sales to say the least lol!
