Libran females insight please.

Posting this from the aqua section as it's appropriate to get opinions from both angles here.

Hey everyone, stumbled across the site by accident today. I'm an aqua sun male, (b-day was yesterday), moon pisces and ascending aries..




I've recently taken an interest in a libran female that's 8yrs younger than myself and at this point we are only acquaintances. If things work out then this weekend we are to get together... I have an attraction towards this individual and had to go through some effort just to even be able to introduce myself to her. My question is with our signs mixing together and the appropriate method of letting things happen more naturally. Is it ideal to enter into this situation with the outlook of developing a relationship or friendship, ie letting things fall where they may? I've read up on Libra females quite a bit and equally on my own and I am certainly at a point in life that I am very unyielding of accepting relationships from the majority of people I meet. I've yet to find the one that can trigger my emotional/intellectual connect, finding the physical connection doesn't seem to be a large problem.

If necessary I'd be more than happy to provide more detail/background, just don't want to bore anyone here.

Based on what you've said, and past experience with knowing a libra female, I'd say go into it just as a friend, but keeping that "sexual" attraction going so that she doesn't friend zone you. Just don't act clingy/needy and you're good. She'll come to you. They are very social and people pleasers. You being aqua/aries is great! Good attraction there

Aquaman & Libra woman is among the most solid combinations possible in my experience, speaking as the latter half. You may be surprised at the similarities, therefore intellectual/emotional appeal is taken care of.

I highlighted that quote from the original post because I was in that place as well before getting with an Aquarius--physical attraction alone would fail, as the other 2 areas of appeal were left unfulfilled. In fact I remember vocalizing nearly the same quote verbatim, years ago; the imbalance within those not worth involvement > worthwhile was a source of angst for me(haha).

My advice is to try and stay on her radar early on and make your interest subtly known to her, without overexertion. If you see due reciprocation over a few weeks to a few months' time, you've done well. But like I said, the courting process is likely to go naturally and smoothly between Libra-Aquarius, with no boredom in between.

It didn't start to get hot between myself & the Aquarius I was with, until we were already best friends. Therefore friend-zones may only be temporary if you find yourself there. That meant there was nothing to regret once we hooked up since we already knew what the other was all about, definitely a plus.

Chances are you'll be unforgettable to one another if things take off, the sex is off the chain as is the companionship. Not only speaking from personal anecdote--others have echoed the aqua/libra relationship is generally excellent.

Thank you for such a great response! I've read several things of what you've stated on various sites, however I feel vastly better reading it from an individual with personal experience. Depending on the Libra...since you guys have a pretty large age-gap, you might get more annoyed than turned on by her. As long as you don't try to manipulate her to be all things you enjoy at all times, and be able to bear the times she annoys you; than you'll be fine with her. Not saying you do..but some older men have a tendency of wanting to "groom" their younger counterparts..exposing your SO to new things is one thing..but frowning on things the SO likes or likes to talk about, is a thing I found the Aquarian guy I dated did a LOT. But that's a basic rule of thumb for ANY relationship....accept the person for who they are, not in what you can make them into.

AT that age, for me personally I was a spaz, I enjoyed learning things, I had my serious side, I had my passionate side. I could be deep and shallow at exactly the same time. Guys had a hard time trying to peg me down, because on one hand they see me as all innocent and cute and then all of a sudden I go off on a romantic deep end and they find themselves drowning or thrown waaaaaaay off. Also I had the Libran-Mirror thing in full effect where a potential guy would only see what he wanted to see, because I could cater my interests or appreciate his interest and take them as my own. I did this because, I wanted to get to know him better and it was my way to learn more about him. THe result is that I'd be 'perfect' up until the point I'd actually deviate and he realizes that I'm different. In my past experience those potentials found those inconsistencies not as "quirks or something that's original" " but as "things that 'I' can fix so 'she'll' be perfect."

THAT conondrum has been a source of pain for me in plenty of relationships and even now, in my marriage.

If you can just avoid that problem altogether or if it isn't even an issue..than the sky is the limit or if you guys don't make it,the relationship won't end on bad terms.

The aquarian guy that I've had an on and off relationship with, I can without a doubt say he's one of my best friends. And the only reason why we never went there because he could never accept me for who I was, and even after he felt that he could and he finallly realized it, I was emotionally done with him, could never go that route.

I personally don't feel that I am one to push my ways of how someone should lead their life on another. I am very accepting of peoples choices in life and more than anything I push people to achieve their dreams and not give up when life gets them down. Typically if a quark of some sort is not appreciated I will communicate it out, but obviously there are things at the core level that make a person and either they are there as a match or they don't...

Relax Aqua man, I'm a Libra female and I dig Aquas. Just be yourself, she will — you.

Just don't friggen spazz when she does reciprocate, Libras tend to jump in feet first when they are swooning... and Aquas tend to run a mile when feelings gets too deep.

Once the Libra has calmed down, they will step back and be all weird and distant... thus making Aquas coming running back..

It's totally fucked up, you'll love it 🙂

You're probably not, but just a bit of a warning...you'd probably be doing it without knowning ala if you're saturn makes any aspects to her chart.

But also the shorter version...a twenty year old libra CAN be pretty annoying...be prepared for that.

OMG. I could talk about this pair all dang day, but im about to get off work! haha! But im a Libra lady that knows Libra men and Libra women backwards and forwards, and i lovvvve aquas. Sadly they need a little too much space in relationships more than i feel is fair, im talking like taking days at a time to themselves with not even so much as a text, but i will say when an aqaurius comes out of their fantasy dreamland of plans for thier life, they come back down to earth and are as good as new and its like they never left. 🙂

The latter is one of my larger concerns with the age difference along with maturity level etc.. and something that will immediately make me not want a relationship..
