Lock the Bedroom Door?

Thelibran's comment about Gemini women becoming more feminine when "we lock the bedroom door" has me intruigued. I am wondering in what way? What do you see differently about a Gemini (or any other sign) in the bedroom? Is it merely related to anatomy or is there a change in mannerisms that make her seem more feminine?

What's most interesting to me personally, is that the Libra in my life has a lot of feminine characteristics in terms of our day to day relations (he cooks for me, he is very sensitive - sometimes emotional, he takes longer to get ready in the morning than I do, etc.). However, when we "lock the bedroom door" he is the man - he takes the lead and loves to please.

I wonder if others have similar experiences...or insights...or itubes to watch!

yeah aint that the truth??!!! mine is shy around women though - do you get that— he admitted to me that he wouldn't pursue a woman even if there was eye contact but it had nothing to do with the rejection thing...its just that he's shy!!!! Pffffttt....HE is the one who asked me out first, he is the one who initiated things from the start and now he's backed off.....then when it cools enough he pursues again......sheesh what a rollercoaster ride but I do like, actually LOVE the bedroom part 😉

Well my libra friend says the same EXACT thing.. he claims to be so shy around women bc he is afraid of rejection bc it has happened so many times, just told me this the other day.. but just like you when we met he did not exactly pursue me, but he invited himself to the lounge we were hanging at and he asked me to hang with him the next night. He asked for my number etc.. he did not seem shy back then at all.. now 6-years later he is all of a sudden shy.. DON'T BUY IT ONE BIT. It's called ego.. and men are scared to get it shattered, so they don't pursue. If he knows a woman likes him.. why would he be shy?? Or if we are just friends.. why play the shy card?? Don't buy it.. not even with change *jingle, jingle**

hahahaha... u found the other side of the coin... Gemini girl is more boyish in the daylight when there are others around. Libran guy is more feminine when there are others around. But we switch roles the moment we are alone. Libran girl is again gay friendly in day lights and ultra feminine in bed. (pls dont take "day lights" and "bedroom" in the literal meaning )

Whenever i walk or talk with a gemini in a public place, she never makes me feel that i got a girl sitting next to me. Its more like an old buddy with whom i can talk about college or hunting or fishing days. Same goes with libran girl as long as someone around is not carving her attention. Libran guys keep switching the feminine and masculine sides depending on the surroundings.

anyway i dont think cooking and stuffs is a feminine qulities. We are shy. damn shy and am sure you wont buy it in the same meaning. But we are SHY. Esp with strangers. We hate to be judge wrongly by anyone. We are afraid we might make some mistake. So we shy away. But once we get to know a person, we will eat their ears. (i think linda goodman has used this lines)

Funny, my boy doesn't come across as shy AT all. He talks to everyone, everywhere, whether he knows them or not. However, I do sense some insecurity in terms of being rejected. He even told me one time that he sets up walls around him because he's been hurt and it's hard. This, he said in the context of talking about our relationship.

The cooking and doting on me in itself isn't necessarily feminine - it's more the way that he does it that reminds me of a woman. I've had men cook for me before, but I didn't feel it was feminine.

It's funny, I was with a Taurus for a few years and it was the opposite in terms of in the bedroom - I had to take the lead pretty much every time, even though he took the lead in the relationship in general.

And Chatz, I get the "you call me or I'll call you...we'll leave it like that." OR "If we get a chance - we'll hang out soon". Jeez, just seal the deal and make a plan!!!

I get you but I think it is still called an ego.. you don't want to get shattered... or be misunderstood. It is a defense mecanism so your precious ego does not get hurt.. you just word it differently to make it seem like your so humble and SHY. But I just don't believe it... If you WERE shy.. one would think that is a quality you can not just turn off with some and have with others. It would be who you are all the time. NOPE not buying it... Know too many libra males.. they ALL say the same thing.. Isn't that kind of weird?? You can't ALL be shy can you?

Well I'm a gemini and I can see some of this in me. When I'm out in the everyday world, I think I come across as confident and in control and a strong person. In fact, I pride myself on being able to "hang out and drink with the boys" and a part of me sees these other girls at bars, etc., acting so feminine that I think they're being silly (or, and don't beat me up) weak. YET...another part of me really wishes I could be this ultra-feminine person, and I LOVE dressing up for holiday parties or special events. And, when I do get "behind the bedroom doors" I do notice that my mood changes, my voice softens, things happen, etc.

So, yeh, I would agree with that.

Maygirl - that is soooo me! But why do confidence and strength have to be "masculine" qualities! I think our society tells us that to be feminine we have to be certain things - which don't necessarily fit me. So, I can go out and drink with the boys, I love sports like snowboarding, basketball, I can carry my own books, etc. I just actually dug my car out from a five foot snowbank and 3 guys stopped wanting to help me or pull my car out for me.

At the same time, I give myself pedicures and manicures, I am very prideful about the way I dress, I love wearing skirts and heels, hair, makeup, etc. and I'm a very caring and loving person. I don't know, maybe it's the duality of being a gemini, or maybe I'm just a strong woman that gets labeled as "unfeminine" becuase people are uncomfortable with my strengths?

I know what you mean about doing things yourself. Several times I have been out changing a tire on my car and guys stop to ask if they could help. If things are going smoothly (with the tire change), I usually say "no I can handle it." It has taken me a while to realize some guys really want to help do these things for girls, and it is a blow to their ego or manhood if we turn them down. I have to really make the effort sometimes to let guys do things for me, because I know they really want to. In my mind, though, I just feel like I'm strong enough and I can do it, so I should.

But, boy oh boy, give me the opportunity to dress up and look sexy and exotic and I'm there. My favorite new purchase this year are high-heeled black knee-high boots that I've been wearing with my short black suede skirt. I LOVE THEM!

Maybe we are getting a little into the sign thing too much... I love to dress up and be girly. I do it with out effort. Even when I am wearing sweats I am working it so it looks more feminine. I think this is a womanly thing.. not a sign thing. All my friends are the same way and I have a range of friends from aries, scorpio, aquas and libras. Well!!! we do talk and start on with arguments to the ones whom we know well without caring what they r gonna think about us. But to a stranger we shy away. There is no ego when you dont know the person. And we dont care if our friends who know us tease us to any limit. But we dont want any troubles from strangers. We keep our mouth shut and observe them.

hmmmmmm about this shyness thing.....mine is apparently SHY....I can see it in him at times, especially when he gets emotional (and yep he does), but when he's in an argumentative mood (which is often too lol), he's not at all shy, not one little bit, in fact, he can be downright annoying with his cynical ways

Was married to an argumentative Libra.. Hated it.. every minute of it. I don't know Chatz. My libra friend does not argue with me. I got mad at him once several years ago.. and he clammed up, and that was it! ...never did that again... never will.

oh mine doesnt argue with me - he argues with the telly or the radio LOL.....he's never wants to upset me though - that's the part I really like about him, he's very much aware of what he says and how it affects others. I dont think I'd win many arguments if we had any though.......he's too smart LOL.

And when I argue it could last for days!!! its rare though so you're all safe 🙂

How long did it take for you and your Libra to marry from when you met Brat?? Just out of interest? are all these posts about waiting and waiting the same as what you went through?

Well.. we met in high school so it was a little different. But basically YUP! I was in love with him all through high school and could never tell him.. he was always dating someone else and at the last minute, the week of graduation, I was in our IVY Day parade (school thing) and he saw me.. I was part of the IVY Day Queens Court so I had to wear a prom style dress and he said from that day on he was in love with me.. it was white. He told everybody in the school, teachers included he could not live without me.. now he did not say anything to me.. so I had no idea. Everybody kept coming up to me saying things he said to them.. then on our graduation day I told him we were hanging out that night. We were together until 5am (nothing sexual) and we were together for many many years after. Very bumpy hard road.. but the thing I learned about him, which may not be true for all Libra's his B-day is on the cusp of Scorpio..
When I was in love with him.. he had all the power and I was powerless and less attractive to him.. after many years.. I lost a lot of those initial feelings for him bc our relationship was sooo hard.. then it switched and I had all the power and he became powerless.. Meaning he would do all the calling, and all the chasing, and all the wining etc.. but by that point, it was just irritating, rather than flattering.

I think this principle is true for all men. They want a woman they can chase to a certain extent. Sometimes we have to let them go, so they can realize they need to chase us and if they don't, then it wasn't meant to be. uhh! Good one aquarinbrat.. maybe you could take your own advice... 🙂

Oh.. we got married after dating for about 1 1/2 years.

hahahaha.. I did made it up when i was pursuing an online gemini who was skipping away.

i visited gemini board few times when libra board was dead. I do like Leo. But i dont get that easy communication with them all the time face to face. with leo, many things are gone untold where we could have had long hours of chat. I was about to start something with a Leo while i was in KL and I had only a month left before leaving KL. So I had to block myself from pursuing her.

oh Chatz.. am I a glutten for punishment... to go through this again with a libra.. well I don't know if that is even going to be an issue. He has been my friend for many years and he just snuck in my heart and I can't get him out. I have tried and it is useless. He is a permanent fixture in there so I have two choices.. make the best of what I have or go for the whole shinaniganz.. of course you know my choice.. but no matter what I will always feel about him the exact same way I feel today.
