I’m on the cusp. I’m not emotionally stunted. I just am not going to waste my time on people that are clearly not worth extra effort being put out.

One thing I have noticed is the work ethic is so poor among the majority of them it’s beyond disgusting. What makes you entitled to bot doing leg work.

I’ve been talked back to more from them than other generations.

This isn’t fair, how come you don’t do it but you expect me to? Mfers pay your dues and stfu.

Just because you have a masters degree with no experience doesn’t give you clout.

I admire their view of fairness. They just don’t understand until the older generations die off and more diversity comes into play that nothing changes overnight.

A 25 year old, while right in their observation, isn’t going to change a 55 year olds mind. 🤷🏾‍♂️

I think it’s interesting that getting a masters degree is seen as a “poor work ethic”. And a lot of kids stay in college because the jobs out there pay $ 20,000-40,000 which in a lot of places isn’t enough to be out of poverty. Even with a bachelors degree a lot of people in my area make the same as people without them.

Why put in any more effort when people discover that all the reward for effort they’ve been told will pay off no longer exists? Boomers promised us all these things based of their own experience while those who control the rules have been robbing us by paying lower wages and benefits to increase their profit statements.

We are a work force that is being taken advantage of because we have no other choice. We can be fired by a whim. A lot of us feel like we have no future. We can’t have families because childcare is as expensive as a place to live. We have been in such a competitive over-saturated world and haven’t had emotional needs met so a lot of us only feel like we have ourselves. And what’s our purpose in this world?

School isn’t hard. It takes effort, but it isn’t hard. A masters with no work experience is theory with no application. Get some work under your belt in the real world.

Feeding the soul is great and shouldn’t be set aside but survival comes first and that is lost to the late minnes and the Zs
