Absolutely! The chances are that there won't be... I was kind of expecting him to fade away over a few weeks, but he's been pretty regular, which I guess has been a bit like a carrot dangling!! Nice, and annoying at the same time!! Lol
I see it as a positive that he keeps the contact going, definitely still interested in you. I hope it works out for you.
