What Does it Mean?

There is really no right or wrong answer when being honest.. it sounds like he’s being honest (which i would rather have honesty than someone telling me what I want to hear) and he said that he appreciates you.

So really it boils down to were you wanting to hear the truth or were you just hoping he would validate you?
