Does anyone know what whistling in your ear means? 3rd time I've heard this while lying in bed and it's getting creepy now. It almost sounds like mosquito buzz at first but becomes more dinstinct of whistle... no mosquitoes and no wind :/?

I don't know what it is.
Though it's not ringing, it's whistling. It starts distant, and then gets closer, and then distant again. Literally sounds just like a mosquito except less buzzy......it's really annoying.

Are you living near any power grid? Mobile phone microwave towers ? do you have any tooth filling made of amalgams..??

i remember i was 12 years old and i wanted to sleep with ear muffs after hearing about this lady who went to the doctor because of a 'ringing' and slight irritation in her ear

it was a spider making a web

and it's NOT RINGING. Completely different. I've had ringing in my ears before, and it was because I accidently took too many pain meds (I was really sick, forgot I had already taken some.)

It literally sounds like someone lightly whistling in my ear and then stepping away...does it two or three times and then stops. :/
