Advice: the good, the awkward, and the twisted.

Who, the advice givers Sun + Moon (if available: the advice givers' 9th house, 3rd, or 4th - or all 3), the reason for advice, your 3rd house)... and what you did with the advice.

I have a Capricorn mother with an Aquarian moon. We don't know her time of birth. Sometimes we get along but other times we bump heads (quite a bit). Sometimes when my Mom isn't in her 'positive mood' (she has those phases hah), she'll be quite cynical at very odd times. I'll note that she has a quite noticeable opposition between Mars and Saturn.

Sometimes when stuck between a rock and a hard place, I'll ask her for advice. The answer is usually 'half advice' stating (this ALWAYS mjakes me giggle) "Life sucks, then you die".

I've gotten over the 'shock' with that response after a couple of times. Now I just tease her for it. Sometimes she'll ask how my day was, and I'll reply with, 'Life sucks, then you die'.

My 3rd house is in Libra, and 4th is in Scorpio. I also have a square between moon and my ascendant, which I found very applicable while growing up, but feel as though I've grown away from it in my adult years.

my dad(he's gone but his advice about life sticks with me): scorpio sun, gemini moon, scorpio venus, sagittarius mars

I rarely ever take my Mom's advice. LOL. A lot of times she's just a bouncy board. I've already decided what I'm going to do (Capricorn Mercury), I just need someone to listen and give me the other side of the coin. Although, I will say, when I talk to her, I do think of other solutions to my problems.

I can see where your mom would make a good soundboard for other 'paths' for you to go down.

She's seemingly everything element BUT your fire Sun! 😛

I've found that growing up, my Virgo friend was always an excellent medium for me to channel my thoughts to then instantly self reflect. After a bit though, she just became critical of everything and not even the least bit enjoyable.

Don't know any of the moon signs of my advice givers, the sun will have to do - i am great at taking advice and seeking it.
