All this media coverage of terrorist activities

has led to bs like this. Right after San Bernardino, I was seeing a slew of scary, redneck thinking throughout article comment sections and my own Facebook newsfeed. People insisting on taking matters into their own hands since they felt that we didn't react impulsively enough about these attacks. "HUR HUR, OUR GOVERNMENT ISN'T DOING ANYTHING, LET'S DO IT OURSELVES."

This is a great reason as to why this ISN'T a good idea. Our country has been dumbing down its citizens for ages and this is a lovely example. Of course, I've known about people like this for quite awhile, but the combination of all the terrorist stuff going on lately and lovely examples like Trump running for office just... blegh. The video sums it up nicely. This is becoming the "average" American, not just a small pocket of backwoods hicks that people shrugged off and that's scary as shit.

And to the mentally slow, yes, this IS becoming the "average" American. Why? Because our society has been dumbing down our citizens for quite awhile and this is the end result. It's only going to continue. You combine the batshit crazy side, like this bitch, and the other side, which is equally ignorant AND apathetic, and it creates a cluster eff in politics and our society.

Look at Kentucky. There was such a low voter turn out that some crazy fuck is now taking away a raised min. wage enacted by a previous admin. People like this bitch are going to be dictating our politics and policies by voting in some of these crazy loons we're seeing in the current presidential race.

This isn't "alarmist" it's very real of what's happening in our society. It's scary how NOT uncommon this garbage is becoming. People gotta open their eyes and see the big picture.

I shouldn't be surprised though. DXP is notorious for those deflecting and making excuses for bad behavior. Stay on the internet and away from the polls, kthx.
