Forget protein powders... You will piss and shit most of that out in my opinion. Blend some tuna, oatmeal, peanutbutter and milk into a giant blender and drink up a few times a day! You will get your body weight in protein so easily combined with some good meals that you will realize how stupid protein powders are. This route is only a tad more expensive too. Make sure unless you are on any pro hormones or steroids that you are eating under 50 grams per serving. If you go over, its not necessarily bad but you are not going to accept much more than that in one sitting. This is why people who are bulking eat every two hours. If you ARE on a pro hormone... eat up because you are going to use every nutrient you put in your mouth.. lol

Think about it... That drink is basically chewed up food with a glass of milk to wash it down. Your body is going to accept all of that. Powders are easily wasted and missed by the body... If you can't handle the unpleasant taste of these shakes, add some fruit. And leave the PB and oatmeal out if you aren't trying to reach a calorie surplus for bulking, because these shakes are nearly 3200 calories per batch if made correctly. Without the oatmeal and PB you can make it even higher in protein however.

6 cups of oatmeal
4-5 servings of PB
4 cans of tuna
Shit load of milk (usually 5-6 servings)


equals a christ load of protein and calories that will ALL be accepted by the body if eaten in the correct time intervals. Sometimes these shakes can be a bit thick, the answer? Do not cook the oatmeal. Just throw the oats in there, they blend up really nicely actually and theres almost no texture. Just make sure you blend it for a good minute. If it is still thick? (rarely is) then man up and drink one really thick nasty shake and then add milk to the rest of the batch. You will get gains doing this I PROMISE you. It's nature.

I should probably give you exact amounts...

The perfect shake that I make isss

210 grams of protein
3200-3400 calories
340 carbs

If you do not like the fat that is in this shake, then get almond milk and use all natural PB (the fats from all natural PB is in the category of good fats). If you are bulking, you could still benefit from these leaner options but you WILL need more shakes. I personally say fuck it and keep the 2% milk and fat. I just run it off and take B12 every day.

Gahh why can't I think of everything in ONE comment... Maybe its because its 5:30 in the morning and I haven't slept yet.. who knows.. But anyways, the last thing I will say is do not use tuna for too many months, switch to chicken after two or three months... The mercury levels in tuna will add up. And if you want less carbs (which if you aren't bulking you DEFINITELY want less carbs lol) then leave that PB, milk, and oats out and replace with fruit, veggies, and more meats. Good luck!

Thats what my friend said... but then he saw the gains from my shakes and hasn't looked back since. This is done by every true professional body builder... The best will ALWAYS tell you get EVERYTHING from food if possible. Well there is almost no excuse given these shakes existence. I don't care who you are, it is easy as hell to drink one shake every two hours with a meal.
