I'm pretty stubborn about money unless its on food. Taurus mars problem? 😛
I like to buy fresh foods to make all my meals and that can become somewhat costly. I need the 3 different kinds of tomatoes for my marinara sauces and fresh garlic. I want the fresh herbs and organic fruits. I buy my meats and eggs from a local farm or my local, organic grocers. If I could make everything from scrath, I would. I spend so much damn money on this ish.
Other than food, I really don't care if my shoes, shirts or pants are name brand. If it looks nice and happens to be a 5 dollar shirt, I'll get it. You will never see me buying a article of clothing that is over 30 bucks, EVER. 😛
Now that I think of it though, I will be a little bit more spendthrift on things for the home. Like decor or cookware.

I'm a brand whore. Only for brands that build lifetime things. Choose better, buy less type of thing. Not at all a consumerist.

Anyway, Ever since I was about 20 I've tried to consume less useless shit. Realizing I don't need it to survive and I should spend my money only on things that are really useful.
You really don't need much. I mean whats the point of going in debt , to impress people you don't even like ya know?
I understand consuming is everywhere in your face all the time, it can be hard and it's not easy and we do live in a society where money is the highest value. I guess I just see it as a very fleeting value longterm.
What about you?
