Going to the club by yourself

When I first moved to my town, I used to go out by myself all the time. Then I started making friends and started going out with them. Last night I decided to go out alone and I forgot how fun it was to go stag.

more men come up 2 you, more free drinks, just an overall feeling of confidence surrounds me. No wing man/women.

Do u guys like to go stag or with friends?

I've never gone to a club by myself, sounds interesting.

huh. i don't like to go NO place by myself without a woman. but i do love my me time alone to myself. when i'm not in the mood for people, that is. and sorry, i don't do clubs. you can have that one.

really? So you always have a woman on your arm? Why dont u go to clubs?

maybe you should take one chick with you. that'll definitely entice men to approach you and your girl. 🙂

I don't mind doing things by myself. I can go to movies, lunch/dinner, parties without dragging someone with me. Clubs, no. Clubs can attract some sketchy ass characters. I don't wanna wake up the next morning and find myself in a situation straight out of a scene from Law & Order SVU.

I go to the movies alone 2, but I always feel wierd when I leave. I dont have ne1 to talm about the movie with. So I usually make a dash 4 the parking lot.

I've done both. I actually prefer to go solo for the reasons you listed (minus the drinks--I don't.) Sometimes you just don't want to move when the herd moves and leave when you're ready to leave.

I love going places by myself if only because I almost never get to do it. People like to cling to me for some reason... :/

I'm not really into clubs so I would always end up going with friends if I did, but restaurants - once I find my favourite place that serves my favourite food I like going along sometimes to find a corner with a paper and eat alone. Preferably with a view to the outside.

I have no problem going most places alone except like a club or something.

This, pretty much. Clubs are not my thing anyway (the typical clubs we're all probably thinking about), not the right atmosphere for me.

Bus stations, airports, especially train coup?s, best places to chill by yourself, meet the most interesting individuals and hear the most interesting stories, from my experience. You can always expect some "loonies" too if you attract such characters.

Seeing a girl wandering alone in the club is just weird. I loved clubs, but it never crossed my mind to go there alone :/
Going to a bar alone or anywhere else is fine. I did that a lot when I traveled for work and met some people i am still in touch with. It can be fun

what is it about clubs that make you guys not want 2 go?

I have yet to meet a decent human being interested in sustaining something meaningful in Da Club.

Plus drinks are way overpriced for what you are getting.

Prefer a quiet little pub, but I hate sitting in a bar alone. It just feels weird to me.

Depends on the club. If its all about dancing and plastic men/women, I get bored wandering aroung cardboard cutouts no matter how good they look. But if its live blues or rock, that sort of club is fun.
