bloody annoying

someone has called my mobile phone at least 30 times in the last 24 hours - starting at 1am! It's the same number each time and they don't leave a message.

what the!?

I won't answer numbers i don't recognize and everyone i know has my home number, so it's not like it's a family emergency (and anyone who knows my last name can call information and get my home number easily enough).

On the one hand, I'm a bit curious as to who it is - on the other, 30 times is just weird.

At the moment i'm not answering out of principle cause the more i think about it, i'm finding the constant calling quite rude and intrusive.

would anyone else be annoyed in this situation, or would you be likely to answer?

Oh, I would be so annoyed! I'm the same way...I would be so pissed off that I wouldn't answer simply because it's so rude. You could answer and just not say anything, or answer and say, "are you the person who's rang thirty times, treetrunkweed?"

call the phone company and bug them over ur prombelm they cna pronblay stop it
or u could go on the intent and search that numher find the perosn and annoy them. sounds good to me.

I think you should call from a payphone and pretend to be a stalker and freak the butter out of them.

I would ignore them because if you give your number to people you only care about and you don't recognise this number, then you musn't really care about this person! And therefore they are not worth knowing about.

But then again, I would probably be so curious that I would answer in the end. If you really want to treetrunk with their head, answer in a heavy foreign accent and pretend to be a little old lady. Carry on the guise until you decide if they're interesting enough to talk to or not.
