Idk if this has been talked about but I just came across it..
Apparently most articles on the subject were from last year...the one above has an update as of Jan of this year. Looks promising...even though no one will be able to afford the treatment/cure...its a good step at least unless the big pharmaceutical companies pay off the right people to make this go away....?

Maybe this will put a crack in their "empire" which will eventually come crashing down...it has too! One can only hope...right?!

Gosh, I certainly hope so. When I was a child, I never knew anybody with cancer.

These days, there is hardly anyone who hasn't been touched by it's ugly hands, one way or the other.

I heard there is a cure indeed, they just don't want us to know about it.

Right....it was very rare that you'd hear that someone had cancer and now its all you hear.
One always heard that as well...that they have the cure for it..but to see something about it makes me a little hopefully.

I think its due to toxins that are carcinogenic.
Its why I get really nervous about GMO foods. Some have been beneficial like the rice that produces its own carotene. "Round up ready" corn, on the other hand, I think is a frankenfood.

Interesting.
Before I read the article, I assumed somehow the stem cells could be used to stop the replication of the cancer cells. This is interesting if it works, because cancers that are hard/impossible to remove by operation could be destroyed by the bodies own immune system. Be very interested in seeing how the human trials ago.

^^ that article says they will begin the human trials this year in feb...or april. So maybe by the end of the year we may hear a good update.

I always wondered what are the trigger factors for cancer. How come some people get it and others don't? Doctors don't even have an answer to risk factors for some rare cancers.

Well, some of the literature I read points to a mutation that puts the regulatory mechanism for cell division off kilter. So once that gets established, it becomes like a snowball rolling downhill.
But yeah, the mechanisms aren't completely understood.
At least in some forms, we have come a long way to treating some forms of cancer now that 40 years ago would be a death sentence.
I really hope the human trials show promise.

I really think its in the toxins that get absorbed into the body.
For instance, there are direct linkages to dioxins and cancer.
Free radicals in the body are also known to interfere with the cell mechanisms.

On another note, in the studies that have been done so far (and actually happened in spite of corporate and government pressures to disallow further research) - the mechanisms ARE understood.

By all means, share that.
I'm not a biologist, so I'd be curious to learn.

I am versed in the technical sciences.
Like the technical disciplines, if those mechanisms were understood, we'd be a lot farther along, corporate and government conspiracies theories notwithstanding.

I'm really curious about cannabis being the miracle cure. Please expound on that.

Have you ever seen those horrible " infusion@ rooms? OMG ITS SO SCARY, all this sick people with no other options really then the horrible chemo "therapy" nightmare they are pumping into these people!!! Really wonder if anybody really survives that treatment? Is wear several people I've known where feeling better until they started filling them with their drug cocktails! It's a huge $ $ maker with desperate people willing to do whatever the dr tells them to survive...I don't think I would ever take their "treatments" if heaven forbid I was faced with this... Really who had cancer when we were kids? I'm in my 40's so...

When the THC from cannabis touches the cancer cell, it actually makes the cell self destruct.

That's what I read/watched.

^^^
I believe that marijuana can cure cancer but it's the oil not from smoking it sad to say.. However I've known many people who have used marijuana in place of addictive narcotics to heal after injury/surgery.. The Drs freak out if you tell them because " there have been no studies BS" really it's the F*ing pharmaceutical company's making ridiculous profits of " legal" drugs!! I live in Co thank God where it's a legal alternative!

Well, try telling that to Mr. Policeman Dick who stops your car or comes to your house.

LOL. Even in legalized states, I hear they can still harass you over the matter.

I guess the policeman dick doesn't know of its effects himself so he just goes off what the state rules are because morally, why would you send me to jail for having it if you knew it wasn't dangerous?

I know they have quotas to fulfill, but damn officer, lol.
