Colours

what color do you look good with? I look good with red, yellow, orange, bright green, and black, you?

Black
Blue (all shades)
Light green (like a sage color)
Khaki, er, however one spells that
Light purple (lavender)

...that's also the order in which I'm most likely to wear those colors, too. Like, I'll wear something black, and then my second choice is blue, etc, etc and on down the list.

Let's see...green (hunter, olive, jade...mostly the darker greens), brown, mustard yellow, orange, red (preferably a scarlet shade of red), off white, black, turquoise blue.

Sorry...I was being silly! 26 lbs! Wow! That is a lot!! And, yeah, I do understand loving food! My daughter and I were just discussing tonight how we have the most fun when it is about food!!! Cooking or eating together! LOL! However, she is a mere size 0 or a size 1 depending...and taller than me...so, it is not a concern for her! I am the one who has to diet and exercise and not even look at the pictures of the foods I crave! LOL!

Blue- everyday am wearing someting blue, the only time anyone will see me wearing something not blue will be my weddingday (though I might wear blue anyway- white's not so flattering) After that, I would wear green, the type that is sort of earthy, because it matches my eyes. Actually, right now I'm wearing blue and green. I love black but I don't wear it because my hair is blonde and any loose shedding hairs show up like neon under a black light.

Colors are visible light... they are actually radiation with wavelengths between 4000 and 7000 angstroms. White light is the combination of all the wavelengths together. When a color, such as red, shows up to your eyes, it is because the item that is red absorbs all the other wavelengths and reflects that one. Actually, it reflects many thousands of lines in the red/orange area and many more, some in other areas like violet and green just too few to notice.

Black and purple. I go for the medieval style for a preference. But can wear ornage pants quite well. Sometimes it may depend on the 'mood' I am in or what phase of life I happen to be going through at the time.

welll. pheonix... there is dark matter, which absords all wavelengths and therefore is absolutely without color... dark matter supposedly makes up 90% of the universe but it's all theoretical because you can't see it.

Luz- radiation is energy. When you put infrared goggles on, you see energy given off too, red meaning hot and blue meaning cold, but you don't see htat really. Our eyes only see the visible colors-violet through red. All stars (living stars that is) produce heat, heat is energy, energy is radiation. Different colors come from (i'm simplifying this) different levels of energy. really hot things are white-they produce more energy and more radiation and therefore more wavelengths. Cooler things are yellow, then red, on and on to violet. An easy example of color in space is the colors of hte planets, the stars, nebulae... (cool pictures are found on the Hubbles space telescope web site by the way). Actually Pheonix, (though I'm off the subject) the whole universe is producing heat- even the empty space- which means it is producing energy and wavelegths. It just so happens that those wavelengths are much smaller than our range of vision- they are microwaves. You never see your microwave give off color. So the whole universe gives off the energy but it's not visible and therefore it is darkness.

LOL Star..at the moment my hair rather sux. It is long, straight and kinda blonde. Usually I am a burgundy, but felt I needed a change. Although, I don't really remember what my true colour is...some sort of boring brown..lol. Eyes=brown.

This is sort of off topic, but all this talk of color makes me curious, how many people dream in color, and how many people dream in black and white? I know that I dream in color, but I also know a lot of people that dream in black and white, or a little of both. I read somewhere that when you dream in black and white it's just a normal dream, but when you dream in color, it's astroplaining, however I don't really believe this being that I always dream in color.

The only black and white dream i remember having is when i was running from this monster in this castle thingy and i had to piss so i sat down and it ended. =3

I wish I had straight hair! 😛 Maybe I am not quite 20 years behind then...since I dyed my hair with a new brand and it kinda gave it a purplish sheen along with the red highlights!! LOL! My neighbor was trying to make me feel OK about it and said, "yeah...but, it kinda matches your dress!"...wasn't quite what I was going for...
