Gosh, I hope that drama has played out! If I knew that was going to happen, I would have kept on dening it!
I think it sounds like a combo of Dear Abigale and the New York Post.
I do like Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac, and I love and play and sing the song 'Landslide' on my guitar all the time. You know the one that goes- I've been afraid of changes, cause Ive built my life around you, but time makes bolder even children get older and Im getting older too!
I use to have a horse named 'Khai-Khai' and that is an Indian name, but someone said it sounds like a stripper? It is pronounced (key-key).
Got to go out to Travelers Rest, I'll talk to you later!
I like the name Rhianne...it is the name I chose for my daughter. Her Dad didn't like anything I picked out! HUGE fight about it...stupid, huh? His argument about the names I picked was that they were all 'black names'! LOL! I had never thought that names were tabu if your skin was a certain colorโ My response to him was, "how come they get all the cool names?" He failed to see any humor in my comment...he failed to see humor in much of anything! I was hilarious too! Oh well...his loss!
rude... careful about fighting with fathers for the name of their children. My cousin's name was supposed to be Dillin (sp?) but her husband filled out the birth certificate papers while she was comatose. His name is Jordan now.

I would choose Xargavitalwooshingtonysilfisby M. Cravinglipshivzdispiortaviousnotsky III.
I'm not explaining myself.
could you perchance add a pronunciation key?
Why? It's spelled phonetically.
Gwen,
You thought me rude in disagreeing with my daughter's father about her name? Why should it be up to the man? Why should he have more say? I did back down and he did get his way, btw, I didn't think it was worth the fight...he was doing the fighting about it...not me. I could've pulled a fast one and changed her name as they came to me (not him) with the paperwork, but, I didn't.
no no no no.... not that at all!
I thought it was rude that HE should disagree on the point that they were racial names and completely disregard your opinion.
OK...whew...I thought we were on the same page on women and rights...my bad!
I've always liked the name Angelica...but it really wouldn't fit me. My second choice would be Gwenyth, no joke.
LoL Star- I never thought to be misunderstood THAT badly. Anyway- Rhianne and Anjelica are nice too.
I like names that end in -lyn like:
Joselyn
Roselyn
Jackalyn
Gwendylyn =)
Lynne
Lewellyn
Dylyn
They are very Welsh sounding
Oh, I love Jaquelynne...similar to your Jackalyn Gwyndylyn, but yet, oddly different. lol.
I love all the names on your list with the exception of Lewellyn--makes me think of "The People's Court" with that Doug Lewellyn guy.

I like names with strong A sounds. Like Alex, Andrea, Andrew, Allen, Ariel, Arianna, Amy, Alice, Brandon, Alexism, Ryan...
mmm... yes... Alex is a good name. Alex... Alexander... Alexis... Alexandra... all of them.
Oh and I noted the Brandon and Ryan in there... they are not really my favorite of names... too ordinary.

Odd, but true! I worked with an Andrea who insisted we pronounce her name Ohndrea. Also had a Dana who insisted we pronounce her name Dahna! People use the same spellings sometimes but have a different pronunciation.
i like the name aeri..lena...

No no no... this is not another post about the infamous multiple personalities.
My question is simple- what name would you choose for yourself?
Mine is sort of obvious- Gwendylyn Post has a nice ring to it I think. After that I would name myself Rhiannon.
