I found out recently that my 'real' father is from noble blood...but, what difference should that make to me?? He was a cad! Indifferent, insensitive, and selfish. hmmm...no wonder I have such difficulty with trusting men!

I would like to go to Ireland and meet real people of my heritage...I just don't wish to be associated with my father!

Mmmm... noble blood. I think I have some of that too. One side of my family is from Ireland, our clan name is McGuggal (don't know how to spell it) and my other side is english all the way. Outrfamily owns a few castles in Wales too, though I've never been over there to see them.

I'm sorry to hear about your relationship with your father. It doesn't make a slightest difference where their "blood" is from, if anything people of "noble blood" shouldn't brag about it since they intermarried all the time producing birth defects. (sort of explains my odd sense of humor) (I'm not saying you have birth defects either)

Oh...I am quite certain that I am a birth defect! LOL!

My biological father is dead, so we never did resolve any issues...though, he never made any attempt to do so before he died either...

but, it is all water under the bridge...

I was just ticked that someone tried to impress me about him at this stage in my life and vented on the board about it...
Thanks for listening!

Haha, noble blood! Blood is blood to me 😉 Speaking of nobility, or something... I found out my Great Grandfather was the leader of the French Revolution in Canada, how's that? I don't know about nobility, but i can definately see the 'pioneering' spirit in some of our family members.

Star, i dont know what to make of this 'noble blood' thing. I would probably laugh if i were you (I laugh at things like that). You are you and you are a good person anyway, regardless of the label your blood has... lol. Arm, i would try to find out if there are any benefits associated with this blood of yours, eg. inheritence, jewels, hehe 😉 Its got to be good for something, hehe.

Also, i dont blame you for being, let's say, 'perturbed' (?) about this whole thing. I have no room for snobbery in my life and it seems like someone is trying to impress you with the 'old school tie' without realising that you are above that sort of thing anyway. Id be quite insulted. Anyway, that's enough from me and my anti-bourgiousie attitudes.

Seeya,
Let us know what you think,
Martine.

Yeah, Libragirl..all blood looks the same to me...although I don't care too much for the stuff. I mean I don't faint at the sight of blood...but, I hate it is someone is bleeding and I am having difficulty in getting it to stop! That is when I start wrapping them up like a mummy! LOL!

Ok...got off the subject there..

I like that about the 'pioneering' spirit!

Yes, I did laugh! Funny about finding out if there are any benefits! LOL! I doubt I will do that...but, hmmm..it is interesting to think about! More than likely all of it has been pissed away...(as I said my real father was a cad!)

Yeah...I don't in for snobbery either.
Take care, Martine!
