...on a lot of stuff? I just saw a movie from 2000, and I'm thinking, to the kids of today (say age 8 to 16), THIS is considered OLD, or at least, passed....

Posted by LillyBlossomIt's a good movie, but I didn't grow up with it, so, there isn't any attachment to it. My response was based on the idea that the things those who feel others are missing out on are the things they grew up with. Otherwise, it's a silly topic. I have easy access to music, movies, whatever else from the previous generations. So, there's no way I could miss out if I were interested. I'm just not as interested since I didn't grow up around them and they have no special meaning to me
Oh, come on, that's not true!
WALL. E. Alone disproves your statement! I refuse to believe that all good has passed and we have nothing good to enjoy. And there are tons of great movies of you look outside of the mainstream Hollywood American films.

Posted by 4ND5Posted by truecap90s still wasn't tech heavy enough to keep you from going outside and playing.
Back in the 70's, kids had freedom!!! We could run all over the neighborhood on our bikes (no helmets) and explore and feel safe. Kids today and even the 90s generation have NO idea what that kind of freedom is like.
We didn't have technology to distract us, so we actually got outside and did stuff; had real experiences.
There was some awesome music and some pretty good movies from that time (Grease, Smoky and the Bandit, Star Wars, etc).
also we had laser tag.click to expand
