I probably didn't spell that right. 🙂 Also, this isn't really about feng shui, it's more about interior decorating. Does anyone else find the same enjoyment I do in re-arranging rooms? I love to re-arrange furniture. About once every three months I entirely switch around everything in my bedroom, for example. But it's really kinda hard to do that because the room is small and I have no real room for anything. The bed takes up most of the room, so I have to decorate around it. And there's really only one or two different spots the bed can be in. Things would be easier if I didn't have two bedroom doors, one to the hallway and one to a half-bathroom. Then I would have extra wall. I've really been wanting to paint my bedroom lately, but I can't decide on a color. I'd like to try white, because I've never had a white bedroom. When I was little, it was pink. Very, very pink, borderline hot pink. lol. When I was twelve, it was painted blue. I liked the blue then and I still like it, but I'm tired of it. Other than white, I'm thinking of sage green, a color which I think is calming, and pretty. Actually, this is funny, but Martha Stewart has some great paint colors. 😛 I don't really like Martha Stewart all that much, but her paint colors are nice. What I'd really like to do is rip up this terrible carpet that's been here for like 30 years. It's this maroon/rust/brown/orange-ish multicolor stuff, and I hate it. And underneath there's a hardwood floor. I love hardwood floors. If the carpet ever gets ripped up (which my landlords-slash-parents will not let me do, lol), it's going to be a pain to sand it and re-finish it. But I think it would be worth it. I like the idea of a cement floor, too, for some reason. I've always been intrigued by the idea of living in a basement. We don't have a basement. Someday I will have a house with stairs, and a basement. That's all I really want. Stairs and a basement.

So, does anyone else like re-arranging furniture? 😛 (back to the point...)

Hehehe, I'm one of those sillies who *loves* really obnoxiously ornate furniture. We don't actually have any furniture like that, because it's expensive, but someday when I have money I want to buy a Victorian style house and decorate in in (reproduction) period decor. See, and I'm also a bit opposite of you in the lightness/airiness department...I'd prefer heavy drapery and as much darkness and shadowyness as possible. lol! I definitely have a distaste for modern furniture with no ... "accoutrements". Is that the word?? I do like the windows open, especially when it rains. And I occasionally like sunshine, but I like it best filtered through sheer, silvery curtains. It's so funny how different we all are when it comes to decorating. I wonder if it says anything about our personalities! (Probably 😛)

I love making collages, what a cool story! Gosh, I'd still do it, but I don't have a good collection of magazines anymore. (I forced myself to get rid of the fire hazard that was my collection)

I like to paint, but I'm not very good at sketching. It doesn't leave too much room for error, and I can't draw people worth a you-know-what. lol. I can do trees pretty well, though...your picture sounds awesome, you should definitely have that framed.

Does anyone like Chinese Art? I am a Dragon,(and a Libra) and I do like all sorts of art. I love the reds and black and gold you see a lot of in Eastern Art. But then, I love deep purple as well as sky blue, especially when there is a red hued sunset, where there are wisps of clouds, that seem to emanate the orange red of the sun, with a deep blue sky behind them, and holy crap, . . .just something I like, . . colors. I like painting, acrylic water colors. Only because when you do a mistake, it is easy to fix !!!

I found that I could fix boo boos while using acryic water colors, because, you can actually wipe off the boo boo with a wet cotton rag or what ever, as long as the background was dry and you did not let the part you want to erase get dry. I dont know how others do it, but, I try to do the background and wait a day or two to start getting particular, not that I dont do the perfectionist part on the background. I like to use a sponge or big brush for the background. They are always outdoor scenes. My favorites are sunsets or sunrises, cause you get to use such alive colors! And I like trees that have mucho branches and no leaves, so, the pictures are Autumn or Spring. I like detailing. Trees are very time consuming, if you are detailing, and you show from big to tiny branches. Sorry, got carried away. . . . . . .

SimplyMe, . . .Where are you? I remembered a movie series I got as a gift this year you might like, it is called " SHOGUN " with Richard Chamberlain, and yes, it was made way back when, but, it has some gorgeous scenes and unless you were an expert, it seems to be very authentic !! It is actually a love story, but, it is one you will never forget ! Anyway, just wondered how you are doing missy !!

SimplyMe, you wont be sorry, however, there is a teeney tiny bit of violence every now and then, nothing gory, just some shocking true to life things that happened back when Warlords ran the island of Japan for the Emporeor. It will make you laugh, make you cry, make you angry, shock you and in general, I would bet money, the average person will love it as I did, and I have watched it several times, and btw, it is a long one, not long enough for me, but, long. Richard Chamberlain never did any better than this one, and it is excellant !!
Sometimes...I want to go backwards in time. Just re-do all kinds of things. And just enjoy and re-live others. I enjoyed my life very much at the age of four. I do remember being four, as weird as that is. I remember things that I did, said, and plac
