that's what we have in the U.S..the illusion of choice. on some of these topics..in some of these threads..i know exactly where the information is coming from because that's the narrative that's crafted and ppl don't realize it.
besides blatant omissions on important issues and editorial discretion, ppl wonder why we don't get the full story? it's because reporters that are hired by these corps. will get filtered out of the system before they even get started if they aren't 'in line' with what is considered appropriately 'newsworthy.'

I was watching miss representation last night, it's an amazing documentary about how the media psychologically messes up young girls and women in general.
They were talking about the media and as pointed out due to deregulation there is a definite monopoly of these conglomerates and they all fund the democrats/republicans.
It's absurd how much power they have since they do truly mold society.
In regards to the black states, believe me you don't want to be in those societies, even as hypocritical as it is in America, those places are definitely worse, cause it's imperative for a healthy functional society to have civil liberties.
