How does it feel to have a child who's talented, brilliant, genius?

I recently watched Forrest Gump where the last scene shows him meeting a child he never knew belongs to him...

...when the mother told him the child was a fast-learner and a brilliant kid, he felt something that pierced his soul... he got teary-eyed...

...That short scene made me realize how parents must have felt to have sired a brilliant child...

...but that was just a guess...

...how did it feel when you realized your kid could have a very bright future?
