I was told ..some people have not the stomach to...face people...esp lets say in combat situations or someone they have been mean to.

Also that it's been shown these typs of people ...those who practice avoidance etc..are bad at reading the body language of others.

What you block...you can't see.

How good are you at 'reading' what tips have you learnt? It's face ..body? breathing? the way people react to you?

Who is in control ...how people react in diff situations?

Share.

I will share my own after a few replies. I don't want to influence. I want to see what if anything comes straight in.

everything. Even their words.
In reality though you would not be able to process all that info on the spot. Or would I?? Not sure.
Just keep an eye out of it and listen well.

I was listening to a ted talk from a solider saying why he chose to be one and was struck by how they face death but also they face the person they are going to shoot. Terrorists don't. Nor to they usually offer up their lives.

Then i read about it ...there is supposedly a correlation between not facing the victim and actually not being able to empathize. In sociopaths there is a knew theory. Not that they cannot empathize...but that they choose not to by ignoring others and the emotional needs of others at a very deep level at a very young age.

Children who don't or can't look at family members friends in schools....it's why people who go postal are introverts ....they don't experience human interaction...and block off the thoughts of the other

They can't read body language ..simply from lack of trying ...

They can't read fear or pain in victims face ...from lack of trying or blocking other people needs off for years. It's a practiced level of selfishness.

It's why they seem to exist in their own moral universe. They stopped looking deeply into people long ago.

Experiences like prison make it worse. Because even less human interaction.

Ignoring and blocking makes your worse in reading people. But you can still be apt in mimicking.

Newest theory is that's a psycho. Nothing wrong with the brain. They just stopped looking at their victims because it was making them feel guilty at a young age and kept doing it ..unless they repressed that part of themselves to get what they want.

To a certain extent all people do it ..in business sometimes ..to fire people ..etc ..but the more sensitive you are ..the less you can block.

Some are primal and wired into the human brain since before we were human....arm swing and inter limb co- ordination in bi pedalism ..is an evolutionary through back going back several species...but we still have it .

A recent research indicates that inter-limb coordination during human locomotion is organized in a similar way to that in the cat, promoting the view that the arm swing may be a residual function from quadruped gait.

meaning some of your movement is hard wired into your brain going back several species.

a conscious ability to recognize and even perform this sort of body language is necessary to achieve fluency in a language beyond the discourse level.....it's why i think sociopaths simply CHOOSE not to recognize body language ..many do acquire second languages ..or maybe we should disregard the word psycho..

And say people who are dangerous to others.

Although I have noticed a KEY thing....psychos (using the word) whilst bi-lingual in their second acquired language ..are not 'bi-kinesic'..FREQUENTLY...i notice that frequently they are much less bi -kensic than lower level speakers and much hard to follow....It's very noticeable.

I feel quite smug at realizing this means they look more pyscho than ever or odd speaking the second language!

When I was a kid there was this interview a lady called Bláthnaid Ní Chofaigh with a terrorist ages ago

Bláthnaid Ní Chofaigh is actually a highly emotionally intelligent person. VERY bi -kensic very intuitive ...very caring. A very sweet person.

She is easier to follow for me ....non linguistic info ...difficult to explain...Anyway she had to talk to this terrorist ..you could see she was ...upset by it ..but he looked ..so weird ..like an alien. Even more so as any bi kensic info was lost speaking Irish for him...

He was much harder to understand than Bláthnaid....I was very young ...not really understanding the context. But i said to my mom why can i understand her better than him??

She said well ...he only learnt irish as an adult but she is native ..so that's why he is harder to understand ...i was like yeah i know but NO ..HE LOOKS LIKE AN ALIEN...

facial expression or reaction, their words how they say it while keeping eye contact but then they avoid my eyes so i look into their next move after they talk to me,observing people while they talk with others
Watching people with them and them with people is important.

So true,i cant tell you enough how important it is to observe how they act to others and when they are talking with you, this is why i know when a person is a liar and i usually can feel it in my guts,i dont trust people who cant look at me in the eyes but then i do have an intense look im always searching their eyes for anything coz i hate being lied to
