I am so in love with your city and your men!!! I've been here 1 whole day and the food the culture the place the men and the accents are all sooooo freaking sexy and captivating!!! I never knew or even wanted to know anything about this place, all we had drummed into us growing up was about the Royals all our lives.

This has to be my favourite city right now, can't wait to explore tonight and tomorrow πŸ™‚

Love the way I know all the names because I grew up with Monopoly too πŸ™‚

The Brits have good tastes, have been asked out several times πŸ™‚

Damanta, the place is so clean. They let 2 hawks fly at 5.00am every morning in Trafalgar Square to scare away the pigeons. They no longer have pigeon poop everywhere and you can see how much they have done to clean the old buildings, also there is very little liter around the streets that I saw.

The double decker buses are everywhere and also the red telephone booths, however they are used as toilets by the homeless so would not go in there!

In Paris now...nowhere near as beautiful as London and the people aren't very friendly. They don't try and help you out at all, as they did in London. I have found the black French are more helpful but damn it is hard with the language barrier. Only been to 2 other countries where English wasn't a 2nd language, Dubai and Egypt and neither were as rude as what I have experienced today. Tomorrow's another day...so maybe I will be proven wrong over the next few days and my stay in Paris.

The architecture in Paris is strange to me. It's beautiful but it all goes in straight lines. It feels like walking down a giant corridor.

I think that is why I like it. It brings a certain comfort level.

You can walk forever and still feel your in the same spot....lol.

but it's also easy to get lost. I've walked circles before realising I was exactly where I started. πŸ˜›

The whole point of Paris is to walk in circles so you can see every corner perfectly. And getting lost on those small streets is awesome. πŸ˜„

London is a great city, England is a great country, the people are so friendly especially outside of the capital. The food leaves a whole lot to be desired though, pretty bad for the most part, and the beers are warm and frothy.

Paris is disgustingly dirty and smelly, mostly it smells of urine. The people are incredibly rude. The last time we were there someone poured an ashtray from a balcony onto our kids. It was 6p.m and we were queuing outside a restaurant that had apartments above it. The restaurant manager shrugged and said it was because the kids were noisy?? And it's not cheap.

The food in France is amongst the worst I have ever tasted. But then I'm spoilt as the food here is the best πŸ™‚. You should visit dublin, it's a great city and the food is fabulous as is the beer πŸ˜‰

Frenchies are very patriotic, and they don't like it if you don't speak their language either. lol

if you at least TRY....they'll be more forgiving.

That's so funny Roman, when we travel, especially to France, we are treated differently as people assume we are English, when the find out we are irish the attitude totally changes, and the tomato ketchup is whisked off the table πŸ™‚. I've no problem with Americans but you are right I do see it here, and it's a pity but I can't tell you why I'm afraid. But I do admit to loving the Canadians, I think it's there funny way of pronouncing their o's πŸ™‚

Yes you will be well fed by the innkeepers, this is my most favourite country in the world, weather and all. Second only to Rome or any place in Italy come to think of it!!

I really liked the people in France. In other places in Europe, if I tried communicating in their language, they just answered back in English...

But in France, and I mean outside of Paris, they eagerly communicated with me in their language, though I was fumbling around with a FR-EN dictionary lol. Some even corrected my accent.

I loved it! So refreshing as opposed to places like Norway, where you get immediately pigeon-holed as an English-speaker, and never get a chance to practice their language.

This world is getting way too English/Americanized, and it's a little depressing to see cultures and languages dying out because of Anglophone imperialism. :/

So I have high respect of those of other cultures who resist this, and stay true to their language and culture.

No Brits, we were on the red/blue double decker bus tours and I met a Lutherwanian guy who wanted to take me home πŸ™‚ Very cute person, blond haired blue eyed. I was surprised when he reach and brushed a hair that had blown across my face when I was talking to him...Men I know aren't touchy feely when they have just met someone.

My gf is here for 6 months and I only a month travelling but I intend to come back before she ends her stay and I definitely think another stay in London is on the cards.

Tomorrow we will experience as much of Paris as we can. I now know the people aren't as friendly so won't be expecting it and will just go about my own devices, pity as it has already left a bad taste in my mouth about this place. To be fair, the bnb we are staying with are a lovely couple and invited us up for a beautiful dinner and are more than helpful.

schadenfreude, great word. Lurker eh, i started out that as well, same with a lot of people... why is that? Maybe it's the insanity like you said, some people are/were intimidating on here.

Iv'e just been busy with things... moved out of mummy and daddy's house was one of those things.
Doesn't mean iv'e forgotten about this fucking mental ward πŸ˜›

I like you though, you seem nice. Even if you are one of those weird lurker types. The cautious cancer rising loves to lurk...

AA, When I first got to London and caught the underground train to where I was staying, there was a young guy going off to work. I thought of you then as he resembled you πŸ™‚

Boom not this trip, as I'm only here a month but think I will come back and soon.

Paris was great today, we tried harder to speak the language and had a better response...I even got given an email address from a very HOT French man!

Hi P Angel, i like that you haven't forgotten some of my films, you always understood them which is rare for anyone let alone someone your age. I made one incorporating my dad a while back where i secretly filmed his reaction and talk with me regarding all of my films, his reaction is golden. If i hadn't hadn't been secretly filming and not thinking of the bigger picture i would of gotten upset.

Maybe it was me Sweethearts? (depending on when you went of course) i moved to London in January
