Letter from James Tate

I got a post this morning (as the brits would say) from Mr James Tate. Here it is.Some of it is a bit personal but thats life.
Old Rounder.
Hay Old man can you still get it up. How is life in St Louis promiss I will be back someday. I have been doing some odd jobs local. I still stay with me mum she is poorly so she needs the help. I drive a lorry for a couple locals go up to Hollyhead and over to Dublin now and agian. this should keep me bussy through the Holladays. After that I will help with the lambing next march. Nothing like sheep to bring a man back to earth. One fellow I work for a bit you may remember is Nevel Peterson he has had a bit of bad luck he got careless and was put down by an old Ram cought him in the middle of the back. has three ruptured disk. He wants me to stay on and run the place for him. I told him I would stay through next spring. His place is not far so I fixed up me old bike and ride it back and forth. As for night life there is little here the local pub. You have drank with me there a bit its the Black Boar inn. A Barmaid names Clair and I have a bit of a thing going but thats about it. I went over to Canterbury for a long weekend saw some old friends and a few enemys. No fistacups just a bit stares I told them if they a mind to we could take it outside. No takers. Hope this finds you well I saw your Daughter in Canterbury she tells me you are to be a granddad agian next june congrads.

Back to nature and rural life; sheep, bars and barmaids?

To take a break is ok but JT is far too intelligent for that kind of life style in the long run.
