For JT wherever you are....the Cardinals did great today in their first playoff game against LA...I hope for you that they make it all the way and win the series!!!! It is always nice to have dreams come true.

I came back Monday went and saw my son and grandson in Nashville. He is upset thinks his mother is dyeing from cancer. She might be smoker also lier she says butter to get attention so you never know. I plan to see the cards thursday night they did well yesterday but I was in a golf turnament. I had to get away from the ding bat next door she is in love with tate, drives me crazey always wanting to get his address. I told her to find a new boy toy. I can not beleive 5 homers in one play off game. love that jimmy edmonds.

Morning Jake....what about those fantastic Cardinals? 8-3 over the Dodgers...I am soooo proud of them. I do hope that they continue their awesome playing power and stay in the game. 😉 Is St. Louis rockin big time?

I was at busch last night, about 55,000 fans (some miss guided Dogers) We are a sports town and we do not rag on outher fans. It was qwuite a party. Game started about 7.15 and lasted to around 11.00 long game. We are hoping to win one in L.A. and play alantia. about 9 hr,s I will go if they play there.

I hope they make it there...I am about 3 hrs. from Atlanta...maybe I will go too and we can meet each other...two St. Louisians meeting in Atlanta! "Meet Me in Atlanta".....

I think I was on national T.V.. there was a guy with a camera shooting the Doger fans we were right behind them. I will go to atlanta if I can get tickets.

I wanted them to play atlanta, Huston is the only team who beat them this year they won 10 out of 18 games. I will be going thursday night it is cold and wet here not good. I hope you get over that soup cr-p thing.

Woohoo Red Sox!!! I guess all of those years of racism finally paid off! Hopefully the Cards can beat Roger Clemens in game 7 though it won't be easy.

You do realize that if by some bizarre chance the Red Sox win the World Series, the world will end.

please read the book ``shut out'' _ which details the racist history of the red sox from the 1940s until current day. virtually every black player who played for the sox came away bitter. and black free agents often refuse to go there.
how many black starters this year. ask a black person what they think of the sox.
the yawkey family started it all, refusing to even consider the great jackie robinson and then calling him names

Allen I might check out the book, thanks. But it wasn't unusual for organizations to be racist back in the 40's, 50's and 60's. You could probably find a similar history with many other sports teams back then. How many black starters this year? Well, if you count starting pitching then atleast four. Pedro Martinez, David Ortiz, Manny Ramirez, and Pokey Reese.

And Jake I'll be routing for the Cardinals. The only reason I was happy for the Red Sox was because I love seeing the Yankees lose, kinda like my similar hate for the Dallas Cowboys in Football. I didn't feel sorry one bit for Yankee fans, they already have 26 WS championships and 39 pennants. Nearly 3 times as many WS rings as the next highest team which is St. Louis with 9.

I am heading out to a local bar tonight with a group of friends whom I have created to be CARDINAL fans...I have a hard red baseball batting hat that I am going to wear and I think I will bring my Ozzie man with me...wonder if anyone remembers him? We are going to decorate our table, scream, jump up and down and cause "flying-feathers"...this "freebird" will be a "redbird" fan tonight! I hope that they do well......

Up here in MA, all I read about in the news is the precausions they're taking to prevent riots.

Nobodies allowed to get drunk at bars. If someone's arrested for public drunkeness, not only do they go to jail, but also the bartender that served them.

I can't blame them for freaking out sinse the Sox haven't been in the world series for almost 20 years, and college students in boston love any excuse to go crazy and riot. After the sox beat the yankies the cops tried to control the rioting and wound up killing some college girl by shooting her in the eye with a rubber bullet. She was just standing off to the side too. Boston's so crazy and messed up. I miss NY.

I'd agree there is big difference between Latins and Blacks, however I wouldn't consider any of those guys that I named off, Latin. Many people here in America consider anyone who comes from a Spanish speaking country as "Latin". Which isn't the case at all. Latins are just a European sub-race kinda like Celtics, Nordics, Slavics etc.. Allen I'm not saying I don't believe you, I do. It's just I feel that it gets exagerrated.

We are down by two. has there been a world series team to come back from a down three sitution? Will we be down three? Mizzou lost to O.K. State, The Rams lost to Miami, I am hoping the cards come back.

I am not going to night I traded my tickets tonight for two tomorrow night now I have 4 for tomorrow I am taking my Daughter, and my son and his wife from Tenn are coming up for the game.

Right off the bat you will have a rough ride to the jail then the cell, after you arive and are booked ( we don't just throw you out of the ballpark)You will be lost for between 48 and 96 hours. assaulting a policeoffice will get you a fine of $ 5000 and up to 30 days. If they get let you off with a fine , you still will have the remberance of your stay with Bubba and Leroy. So be happy return to Boston eat your baked beans cut your farts and resume the habbet of sniffing each outhers ass's.

Hard to say Tony has been to the w/s 9 times never won as I understand it. This from the raido this morning I have not checked out the facts. What we need is pitching we hit the slump in batting at the wrong time . I think we have always need someone becides Duncon for a pitching coach. But he's Tony but boy.
