HOW AM I GOING TO BALANCE OUT PART TIME JOB AND STUDYING. I HAVE TO 500 A MONTH FOR MY CAR AGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!1

500, a month for your car? u better be driving something nice for that price. have u thought about a cheaper car? robbing a bank? marrying someone rich?lol

i cant say much, my truck runs me 550, but i can deduct that off my taxes so its not a big deal. id rather drive a nice car than give it to uncle sam.

Yeah I was going to drive my dads old beat up jeep but my step mom insisted that I should drive a smaller car. My dad wants something 'strong' and 'durable' because he goes on these excursions about my security.

My brother suggested a few cars and they bought me a nice car but I regret not impeding the process.

Anyone managed to facilliate their college life? That is if you didn't reside in a dorm...

they bought it for u but u have to pay for it?

id be driving the jeep personally. oh, wait....i do drive a jeep🙂

i couldnt juggle the work and school thing myself.

Good luck with your college lady....its something really nice.. especially when you get older luz....try to collect nice mememories from this period as much as possible, later on, you'll be amazed about how to survive from all those mess...hehehe..🙂
Mine is for 20 years ago, but still sometimes I wished I could turn back time, and experience it again and again...so much to learn and so much joy...

What school are you going to, and what are you going for?

I'm taking the semester off in the fall, and maybe the spring too, because I just can't afford it. *sigh* And I've nobody right now who will cosign my loans 😢 I went into the office yesterday at school to fill out the leave of absense forms, and was bawling like a baby. Maybe they'll take pitty on me and give me more financial aid, I don't know.

I'm returning to college myself. Just taking one class at city college at the moment. If all starts going well I'll be transfering to USF which is just across the bay here. I'm pretty much starting over in my degree, going for computer science. Not to sure when I want to stop, I'll probably at least get my Masters.

I wish you all luck in your college endevours. And don't worry Luz, just because people don't say they care about doesn't mean they don't.

It's really frustrating. I can't afford to keep going, because I simply don't have the money. My parents I haven't talked to in a while. I don't live at home anymore. They're going through a divorce and it's just madness. They're not going to help me with school. I wanted to apply for financial aid as an independent, but really I can't because the requirements are too strict.

I either have to be born before 1981, be a veteran, be an orphan or ward of the state, have a kid, be married, or be a graduate student, none of which apply to me.

Maybe I should elope, I could afford it that way.

Anyway they said they'd also consider it if I had an outside source right a nice sob letter on my behalf explaining my situation. However, I really don't have anybody who can do that for me. I didn't really keep in touch with anybody who could actually do that for me.

So I'm pretty much screwed in general.

What about your friend Gwendylyn_Post? Maybe she could write a letter for you.

I don't think they're going to give anyweight to a letter written by a fellow student... they want stuff like a psychologist or a clergymen or something.
