Allen, Freebird, SweetP, TW2, JT aka OJ, AK

Love to see that you all are still around!
Have been trying to catch up on the posts and am happy to see how well the old and new are getting on - never mind some minor clashes ...
There still seems to be some interest in THE ORGY - miss Jamesthe13th for that one! But what happened to the toga-idea?
One interesting post was "is the end near" where Haffo said men were about to be absolete. John Wyndham (John Benyon Harris) wrote a short story 1961 "Consider her ways" that describes how that could happen. Anyone know that one?
And, because am on my high horse anyway; Allen, you did post that global warming was A FACT - have you read Michael Crichtons "State of Fear"?
Well, now it?s bedtime in turtleland
Love from the turtle

You probably not familiar with me too well, but the global warming thing is true,it's nearing the end of an ice age afterall and all those hurricanes, typhoons and continued names for the tropical storms are being caused by the cooling of the oceans and coastal bodies of water:gulfs, seas, etc. Those things have been proven along with the melting of the ice caps but nothing too extreme is likely to happen like hollywood is trying to state about it,the earth is just changing itself.

Hi Tiamat,
it?s not easy to contradict the common idea of global warming, but where I live we have evidence of the contrary. Our climate records date back to about 900 AD, and since about yr 1400 ( of course some short term ups + downs weatherwise in between ) a new iceage seems to have been in the making. For instance our glaciers (many) are bigger today than when they first were accurately measured about yr 1940.
Now, this is of course just local evidence, but after all, we live close to the source of where an iceage is thought to show up first - the North Pole.

Scientists don?t seem to be in agreement what really is happening, so it?s not easy for a layman to be of an opinion. Local evidence is all we can count on.

Have a nice weekend.

Hi Turtle,

Yes there are still some of us around, although it does seem quite different on the boards from days gone bye. I miss all the people that are not here anylonger that we used to chat with because there was a certain bond it seemed between us all. There are so many new faces now it is taking me time to get to know everyone. And I am sure most do not know me at all or that I have been around for as long as I have, lol.

Anyhow little Turtle go get some shut eye and TW2 will talk to you another day. P.S. I dont know what ever happened to the toga party we were going to launch? Mmmmmm! That gives me an idea! Maybe we can start all over again and invite the new members to join in the fun! Let me know what ya think k.

Q, hvad mener du dog med det at din tid er snart over? Haaber dog du ikke er d?dsyg - for nu er der jo juletid og da skal man jo ha det morsomt!

TW2, could togas be "out" by now? Well, the turtle had a few good laughs back then, when she tried to see herself crawling around dragging the toga along so perhaps that?s not so bad after all. But, second thought, high heels and a G-string sound no better - umm, nude, now that wouldn?t be a problem!

We definetely need J.the 13th for an orgy-planning, has anyone heard from him lately?

Love to you all
