Pictures of my kids

Everyone else is posting adorable pictures of their kids, so I'm going to join the party ^.^ No baby daddy drama here.

This is my 4 year old daughter, Celestial Grace.


She was a rescue off a feed lot. They put some kind of permanent marking on the horses headed for slaughter, she has one of her ears split in two at the tip. Her rescuer wasn't a whole lot better though, other than finding her a home with me. She pretty much starved the first year of her life, and her growth was stunted. She's only 13hh. She is cremello, and her eyes are so sensitive that when I went to see her on that barren pasture he had her on, she was FEELING her way around. So now she wears sunglasses.

This is my (almost) 3 year old son, Adonis. Yep, he's a pisces.

This is the best horse I've ever known. He is so stable minded, so calm, so sweet, and so willing to please.

This is my 5 year old daughter, Banshee.




She is my whole world. My raison d'etre. She's called Banshee because I drove 6 hours to get her (each way) and she howled the whole way home. She was white as a puppy, the cream didn't come in till she got older. She is basically a rescue, the irresponsible owner of her parents who let the bitch get knocked up was getting rid of them at 3 weeks, and the ad said 'free puppies, may still need bottle feeding'. She was so wormy she should have died. I nursed her back to health, and now she's a hellion ^.^

And last but not least, my 2 year old son, Jack O'Lantern, Jack for short.


He was supposed to be a barn cat, but I lost a lot of barn cats to neighbor's dogs and coyotes/foxes. I orginally had three, Samhain, Mabon, and Lughnasadh. Samhain was the only one who made it, and he lived a long time.. so I got two kittens to keep him company, Jack O'Lantern and Halloween. Halloween ran away and the neighbor's dog got Samhain (jerks, didn't even have the respect to tell me about it so I could bury him, I found his body in the dumpster). Well Jack stopped acting like a flighty barn cat and started acting like a pet... and earned his place in the house. lol. Clever kitty.

Its the game I play with her, I chase her around the house and touch her butt ("get her") lol. She always does that, never really bites me. She doesn't mind if I touch her anywhere I need to (or even do surgery etc), its just her playing. Really awesome timing on the picture lol.

Thanks for all the compliments 🙂 I like that, ninja horse. I'll have to start calling her that. lol
